True, the money for the dock is worth the price since the dock is rather impressive. But if you only go for the tablet, why not just get an iPad2 (If one doesn't mind the OS)?

Yeah, if it was RM1750 with the keyboard, then it's still affordable.

My brother kept the ipad until the sealed box dusty. He got it as a gift and dun even bother to use it last year. We like ipad for the interface, but for advanced users' functionality and flexibility, nothing beats open source OS.

The only reason i will use ipad if the zinio digital magazines will not be developed for android. Let's see how Zinio's development and then i will decide.

ASUS Msia should really lower the price if they wanna compete with Ipad 2. The strategy worked in US.

Yea, I think final pricing should be lower if they really wanna compete.. Seems like iPad2 is still the winner in Malaysia.. Seriously no fight for rm1499 price range..

I think the person who imports the Transformer in and manages to sell it around iPad2 pricing will be laughing to the bank. Would do it myself but don't have enough funds for more than a few units.

That was during February this year. Lastly, my sister (in design industry) asked him for that 3G unit and she got it for FOC.

Being marketing manager is always good, you order 100 units of ipad for contests, you get yourself FOC unit.. haha (just an example)

just wondering..is there any difference for the honeycomb tablet compare to android on the phone? still tinking if i shud get this or windows tablet

Honeycomb UI is designed specifically for tablet to take advantage of the larger screen estate...

there will not be Honeycomb for smartphone...

i noe theres no honeycomb for smartphone..im just referring to overall terms..like the functions, apps..stuff like tat..cause right now i already got a htc desire hd..if they are more or less the same just have bigger screen..then i wanna tink which to get..but if it's different or works almost like a windows tablet..then i might give it a try

well, i think it's closer to iPad than Windows...

anyway there are tablet version of apps as well...
