Nicely elaborated and an unbiased review..

Somehow I feel that iPad2 isn't as solid as their previous version.. My gf's iPad2, the edge there got a bit chipped off dy for no reason, still not sure how it happened cause she take cares of it very gently.. And the smartcover isn't that durable either.. It scratched the iPad at the attaching place and the magnet's silver paint came off a bit also, at first the smart cover firmly attaches to the iPad, but now if u hold it upside down, it easily comes out and the magnet isn't as strong dy.. Well I think that iPad2 still meets expectations but the smartcover is somehow a failure.. It's successful due to the marketing..

Then comes Asus transformer, the pricing in USA and the detachable keyboard+extended battery life+dedicated android keys on keyboard is really the bomb.. I have very high expectations with it and I think it might beat iPad2 easily if iOS 5 doesn't come out with smth really impressive n innovative..

But most ppl don't own a BB.... at least not over here  sad.gif
A majority of ppl here are iPhone users, and will probably go for iPads instead?  hmm.gif

Based on the review, seems like the BB Playbook still requires some improvements  hmm.gif
*
Haha, you haven't seen it only.. All the working class uses a BB, especially Banks, Consulting Firms, you go in there as an analyst, they give u a BB immediately, not that they give you the phone for free, just so you could see their emails ASAP 24/7 and have no reason to say you missed it LOL

Yea I am predicting Asus Transformer to be quite a success..

iPad2 needs to get their iOS 5.0 ready this summer and try to surprise us again..

Yes comes with camera.. But the camera apparently is quite bad, worse than mobile phone ones.. One of the users gave a review and commented it on YouTube..
iOS still seems to be smoother overall looking at the YouTube video.. But Multi tasking definitely beats iOS4 hands down..

Asus Transformer review is out... Hmm... UI doesn't look so good as I suspected... Seems like Honeycomb still need some tweaks and Asus needs to get their software done properly, though everything else looks really impressive... I take back my words, I think iPad2 is still gonna dominate for now...

Personally I think playbook is a bit too small as a tablet.. If you're gonna do any reading it, 7 inch is just too straining.. It's gonna be either 8.9,9.7 or 10.1 for me..
I agree with astria for the point where BB playbook needs something significant to distinguish themselves from, in which they still do not have it.. Like Asus transformer, they have the keyboard/extended battery which is brilliantly made, also IPS display/Gorilla glass for such a low price compared to Xoom.. Whilst that iPad2 has some really exclusive killer apps such as Garage Band which is a good enough reason for anyone to get one compared to other Android tablets, not forgetting their smooth UI which is still above honeycomb at least..
RIM gotta up their game even more if they wanna compete, it's no wonder that their stock prices dropped downhill since the playbook released..

so is iPad2, if u ask me...

camera, wifi tethering, all these are old tech that Apple market as new features...
*
At least iPad2 still have features that is above every competitor ATM.. I don't see any in Playbook except being one of the only 7inch tablets lol..

OOT: I noticed you put 60D into your wishlist lol, why not 600D instead?

tongue.gif playbook have full flash support  brows.gif do ipad 2 have? whistling.gif. Playbook can ran it own apps and android brows.gif do ipad 2 can? whistling.gif ,playbook can ran 1080p vid without prob,do ipad2 can whistling.gif ,playbook have a bb bridge functin that sync your bb with pb,do ipad2 can sync with IP whistling.gif ,you should try pb first don't simply give a bias opinion ,I am consumer not a bias ifaq or android faq,fyi I own an Ipad 1 and pb but. But prefer pb but  cry.gif ipad has more apps ,and already tried gtab but not nice also prefer ipad than g-tab
*
The one bias is more like you.. Sure playbook can run their own apps and android's.. But is there any BB apps that's even worth getting it for(other than the fact that you own a BB)? Most of the points u stated any Android 3.0 tablet can do the same and cheaper price... If those points are important to you doesn't mean it's the same for other consumers, I can list out things IPad/Asus Transformer have over PB also.. Does PB have garage band? Does it have iPS display? For some ppl, these 2 points are worth getting an iPad for already, but doesn't necessarily mean that it's superior to the other, that's why competition exists.. If you're Saying PB being better is definite, RIM's stock prices wouldn't have plunged so low when PB released..

well, it's US$100 cheaper than iPad2 in the US...
*
That I know.. But LYN themselves were saying it's gonna be around Rm1.5k without keyboard and RM2k with keyboard when it comes out...

Lol anyways, iPad2 launch is crazy in Malaysia, I never expected there're ppl queuing from midnight until morning for it, such phenomenons are only seen in foreign countries usually...

Yea, I think final pricing should be lower if they really wanna compete.. Seems like iPad2 is still the winner in Malaysia.. Seriously no fight for rm1499 price range..

Hope that Asus is able justify the price increase lol, if not they're probably in deep shit with sales...

And that really heavily depends on how good Ice cream sandwich is gonna be also...
