Open basic saving account. just deposit RM20, and the RM20 stay in the account as min balance needed for account.

Choose option no annual fees one. (but will have atm and over the counter(OTC) transaction number limit. Once exceed, charge RM0.50/additional transaction.

I think it does not matter...for currently forummers had been posting that they can withdraw almost all except maybe RM50 to maintain the a/c without problems

You can withdraw any time you want. If you're looking to apply for PTPTN in the future, then it's a must for you to have a SSPN account in the first place.

I only got deducted RM 12 for the debit card - similar to other bank like CIMB
