Going to start the project, but for the 8k tax relief thing...haha.

I am just wondering how the withdrawal and deposit at the same years will be calculated as "simpanan bersih" at their term.
*
Simpanan bersih = amount deposited - amount withdrew in the same year

80% sspn-i
20% sspn-i plus

Reason.... (this is before all those ewallet la this la that la)

sspn-i plus can accept credit card... i not enough cash flow that time, so that's that.
Now i do know sspn-i can use bigpay last year, but its a hassle as reported here a lot have to spend time convincing staff can use bigpay. I rather just go hassle free hehe.

Now can use boost pay for both so... thumbsup?
*
I went there, take out my BigPay and the staff said "Ohhh, BigPay". The counter staff already familiar. No more hassle.

USJ Branch is open 7 days / week.
I use BigPay to deposit into SSPN. They slot in the card, you key in your pin, done.

Previously yes, but recent years no more. Refer to your SSPN's statement for LHDN.

Based on PTPTN's BigPay ad, I would assume all branches.

thanks for double confirm.

I try to search through the PTPTN website but can't find any info about this.

I have a few more questions if you don't mind:

1) Using bigpay to pay SSPN-i can only be done over PTPTN counter?

2) Any charge for every top up regardless of the amount?

3) How long does the top up takes to be reflected in the SSPN-i account?

thank you.

it's inconvenience for bigpay unable to top up SSPN-i through other way like agents and online

but glad to know that SSPN-i promote the use of debit/credit card instead of cash payment

I've only been to PTPTN branches so no idea if those makeshift counters in malls work the same. I believe they should since it'll be senseless to keep lotsa cash with not much security around.

Dear all, just to confirm, if both parents are having separate SSPN account for their child, then are they eligible to enjoy RM8k tax each (RM16k total) for the deposit this year?

Assuming both of them are at 21% bracket, I guess they should max this saving first before venturing into other moderate investments such UT right?
