want to ask, what is the differences between youngnuo 460 560 flashes and sony f42 f58 flashes? why the previous one so cheap? haha, sry newbie here.

Fairly simple. The ttl in YN are budget coded and unreliable. Plastic also felt not solid one bit. And capacitor used are cheap so u get inconsistency flash pulse/fire. Some YN are without ttl, you'll need to it manually, not design for newbie friendly.

Sony, (or other branded) spend money in research and developments(R&D) and programmed the ttl and adi for accuracy. Stronger built, better lasting and reliable electronic boards and capacitor. Not to mention proper wireless mode, multi channel to avoid cross trigger with other user.

A Chinese saying, one cent money, one cent product.

albnok : Yup. I also wished that I had not inadvertently cropped the words out. Guess I wasn't paying much attention.

I feel that the 85mm is not quite similar to the 50mm. I can comfortably use the 50mm for group shots of 3 or 4 persons while the 85mm will need me to stand way back.

The 50mm offers a wider view and can afford more space around the subject. Easier to get half or 3 quarters body shot with a 50mm.

The 85mm also gives more bokeh when wide open and up close. The bokeh is smoother on the 85mm than the 50mm.

I tend to want to get tighter cropped shots when using the 85mm. When I am on the 50mm I tend to want to go wider.

Newbieeeeee: I like #1 because of the two guys there - however you could make them bigger in the picture by going behind them.

mastering89: Mind the feet in #4 LOL. Would prefer #5 and #6 in portrait. Also why is #6 so far, when it's a 50mm on APS-C? Like #8 baru best. biggrin.gif

#10 yeah man that is the best Sweep Panorama orientation. Eh you know what 30mm is like since you had the 28mm what. biggrin.gif

fansoption: Wah not heavy ah the Zeiss 135mm F1.8 on the GF-2? Nice #1, #4 and #10! Composition a bit weird on #2 and #3. Was #13 from the GF-2's 14mm F2.8?

shootkk: You may find that the 85mm is quite like the 50mm, oddly. #4 is nice if only the shirt wasn't cropped.

loyatttt: Are you able to head down to a Sony Style, or Pudu Plaza where Studio Zaloon is? Assuming you're based in the Klang Valley lah.

cjlai: Real niiice!

ahpingko: Yes, can, but it will help to bump up the ISO.

albnok : #13 is from 35mm F1.8 on A55 also smile.gif GF2 all my pic cannot use bcos shake haha!

cjlai : owh mai. how many shots taken for that smile.gif . nice biggrin.gif

porkchop : owh sexay pose wub.gif

albnok : yeah, prefer the 28mm (wider than 50mm) range. 50mm is nice too, gives enuf space between subject and me nod.gif . nice for street photog, but hadn't had chance to go for real street shoot sad.gif

Lets go to KLCC

Well the Yong Nuos are full manual flashes. You'll need a hot shoe adapter to use it on a sony body. No point. Just get the F42/58 or wait for the F43. Unless strobing then the 460 would be cheap and good.
