QUOTE(albnok @ Apr 5 2011, 10:49 PM) Newbieeeeee: In addition to that, the A850/A900 have a dedicated Mirror Lock Up mode under the Drive mode options. Click shutter once to lock up mirror, click shutter again to fire the shutter and drop mirror down. Yeah. High ends has that. Just curious whether my a580 has it or not cause just read abt it in the magazine |

Ehh, Wanna know all of yr opinions. If it was a choice for you, would you pick 70200G or 70400? Its extra 200mm(ALOT) but not constant aperture.

QUOTE(Mikeshashimi @ Apr 6 2011, 08:35 PM) again... depends on what ur gonna shoot... if u need the 2.8 (im assuming its 2.8 for the 70200), then the choice is obvious... if u dont need the large aperture then clearly the 70400 would be more beneficial. QUOTE(lwliam @ Apr 6 2011, 08:36 PM) QUOTE(Mikeshashimi @ Apr 6 2011, 08:38 PM) Added on April 6, 2011, 8:58 pm QUOTE(Mikeshashimi @ Apr 6 2011, 08:47 PM) Yah. The 70400 is F4-5.6.So the 70200 + 2x TC (70400) can be F2.8-5.6 But its more expensive by 1k. This post has been edited by Newbieeeeee: Apr 6 2011, 08:58 PM |

QUOTE(ieR @ Apr 7 2011, 11:02 AM) Newbie ah newbie... 70200 + 2x TC is 140-400 f5.6 not 2.8-5.6. No laah. You remove the TC = 70-200. Put it on = 140-400. All together 70-400? Haha The 30 Is Hot. But just that its at the bottom of the list, most ppl have other lens in mind like Tele lenses... Well, the 30 is on the bottom of my list... |

QUOTE(Mikeshashimi @ Apr 9 2011, 11:47 PM) haha... Samyang is good. Only prob is MF. But people say its soo wide so its very easy. Just go print a hyper-focal chart online and put it in yr cam bag.im leaning more towards the samyang at the moment... QUOTE(Hico @ Apr 10 2011, 09:58 AM) wow..very nice the photos I would personally get the 30macro. Got macro and around 30-35mm also. not sure if the 1.8 is sharp at 1.8, but usually have to step down to maybe 2.2 before its sharp. 2.2 vs 2.8 not much difference lah! |
