I know it's Persona.. But original R3 bodykit doesn't exist for Persona.. Usually ppl just use Gen2's R3 bumper in front & sideskirt & rear from other bodykits..

air master rear bumper also nice... =)

No doubt Carrefour is selling cheaper the engine oil, but mostly is import from Europe. Example the Shell Helix, the litter is 5l instead of 4l. The grade also different SJ/SL/SM.

Not sure about other brand.

Light foot lor. Nothing can help u reduce FC as much as ur right foot. Changing gear to N won't help la.. It just engages ur car in gear.. And it's quite a bad practice actually as u can cause ur gearbox to kaput faster.
For extractor u need to do tuning again.. Maybe not resetting the ECU, but retuning it is necessary as the o2sensor is relocated.. Things like spark plugs & air filter no need lah..
*
i onli ask sc to diagnose bec whether got any problem and reset ecu after extractor..i think they din do tuning for me since they din provide tis service..but i noticed d bill onli stated diagnose ecu,din stated reset ecu..but is ok la..since my car oso powerful nw tongue.gif if got time juz go cose to tuning..next service plan use the liquid moly engine oil..semi.

Or you cant go any of the spare parts shop or any service work shop to buy it, those shop with big Castrol advrtisement sure got but it is RM100.00 no nego lah....

If you observe carefully when you shifted to N or P your rpm will ideling at slightly higer than you stop at D, when high rpm means consume more fuel.

Erm.. Most of the engine oils are imported mah.. except for Petronas Synthium..
And 5 L engine oil does exist but we don't use it much here bcos most of our cars here are of low displacement..

Btw just now PE's Lotus Handling saved my life sweat.gif

I was behind this 1 cement lorry near my housing area. The roads here are quite narrow. So this cement lorry takes up almost both the lanes. Then the lorry is turning right, and I'm going straight. Suddenly for no reason at all the lorry stopped right in the middle of the road, at the intersection. Because I'm going straight & the lorry is turning right, I accelerated a bit. When the lorry stopped, I swerved to the left. The road is so narrow that my tyres front & rear left tyres were 50-60% off the road. Then I pedal kaw kaw & launched my car out of that tight situation. I can see how close is the metal stairs step at the back of the cement lorry to my A-pillar. For a moment there it feels like matrix sia laugh.gif

Stupid lorry stopped for no reason. Sikit lagi I kena the metal bar & that thing will confirm behead me.

biggrin.gif I just try once only for Shell Helix to my previous Wira, did notice the grade different (I compare every single code to the one i bought from Petrol station). That time about RM20 different.
Overall I feel like the oil is not that light after a while, the 4l with higher 1 grade last a bit longer.

Oh cool, will observe the RPM when im driving home later. So in a nutshell it's not necessary to engage N when ur car is stationed for awhile, just leave it at D?

I'll look around at supermarkets first and see whether is it cheaper anot brows.gif

Not really, ngeo88. Look at it this way. Ur D gear is connected to ur front wheels. When u shift ur gear to D, the RPM dropped slightly because the gear is engaged, the power is down to the wheels. If u release the brake & allow ur car to free roll in D gear the RPM will go back up to the same level as when it was in N or P.

So in this case, u can say that whether or not u shift to N during traffic jams, it's not gonna help u save petrol. It'll only cause higher wear and tear around the bushings and linkings.

I also the 1 always shift to N while stop, maybe due to drive Manual car for more than 10 years. Another point is I don't like to hear the break sound when almost stop or when start moving if with D.

In traffic jams it's better not to keep switching between N & D. If u're going to stop for around 10-15 minutes then shift it to P or N, then it's ok.. Frequent shifting between D & N will cause very high wear on the gearbox.. Not good lah.. Gearbox not cheap also wei..

Grade in term of SJ/SL/SM. I can't recall which is which now, cos all the old bottle is either at home town or throw away liao.

Example like 1 is SJ, another is SL. Even both also is Shell Helix HX7. You may try to turn the bottle behind to check the grade next time when shopping. biggrin.gif

I also not sure how this grade going to effect-lah, just feeling only. blush.gif

Castrol Edge is fully synthetic..

Well the only way to know is either u do a chemical test on it or just read it from the bottle la.. laugh.gif
We've discussed about this just now. 0W-40 & 5W-40, the difference is in the viscosity. The way engine oil works, the viscosity (kepekatan or kelikatan, as u may prefer) differs when the engine is cold & when it's at operating temperature. So 0W-40 is less viscous or 'less pekat' during cold start and offers minimal protection for the engine but provides better performance. 0W-40 is too thin for our engine, go for at least 5W-30 or 5W-40.
