We've discussed about this just now. 0W-40 & 5W-40, the difference is in the viscosity. The way engine oil works, the viscosity (kepekatan or kelikatan, as u may prefer) differs when the engine is cold & when it's at operating temperature. So 0W-40 is less viscous or 'less pekat' during cold start and offers minimal protection for the engine but provides better performance. 0W-40 is too thin for our engine, go for at least 5W-30 or 5W-40.
Boh bian lor. Drive auto sure like that wan lah.. Dun wan gearbox spoil fast then cannot always shift to N lah..

thanks for the explanation. I guess it benefited quite a no. of people who always "masuk' & 'keluar' gear 

Grade in term of SJ/SL/SM. I can't recall which is which now, cos all the old bottle is either at home town or throw away liao.

Example like 1 is SJ, another is SL. Even both also is Shell Helix HX7. You may try to turn the bottle behind to check the grade next time when shopping.

I also not sure how this grade going to effect-lah, just feeling only.

they open out all the arm,absorber and stabilizer bar..all put the grease and tight it bec..then is ok ady..sc told me,if got sound can bring bec to them..they will do free alignment if need open out all the things again

Not good to always 'masuk' & 'keluar' gear leh.. Later ur auto trans rosak lah.. Manual can do that but auto not good..

Eh I got no choice but to tekan ok.. Unless u all dun wanna see me at the next TT anymore lah..
Higher 1 grade as in?
In traffic jams it's better not to keep switching between N & D. If u're going to stop for around 10-15 minutes then shift it to P or N, then it's ok.. Frequent shifting between D & N will cause very high wear on the gearbox.. Not good lah.. Gearbox not cheap also wei..

Sure, no prob.. It kinda applies to everything, rite? U 'masuk' 'keluar' too often anything also will loose la.. rite?
Erm.. That's not grade, dannyw. That 1 is API service class. They have SN,SM,SL,SJ,CJ-4,CI-4,CH-4... bla bla bla. That 1 is to determine the service characteristics & designation like SN,SM,SL,SJ is for common passenger cars, while CJ-4 n all that is for diesel commercial vehicles like lorry, truck, etc..

Don't like aftermarket bodykits la.. I still think PE's or Persona SE's bodykit is the best looking of all other bodykits out there..

It's ok.. We all need to learn & it's good to share knowledge    The API is different as it's designated for different engines ma. Futhermore old engine oil bottles may have old classifications, the new 1 may have improved and be classified differently by API..

U mean IAFM Dun go buy straight from proton la.. Buy from accessory shops.. Very cheap oni.. Full set with paint only RM 800 at most..

My one also bline round butt.. but i like the OEM bodykit lah.. Still the best so far.. The airmaster ones all too ah beng look abit..
