The gear wont shift down eventhough if u accidentally push to lower gear if the RPM is too high.. Once the speed reaches below redline for that particular gear then only it will shift down.

Never been here for so long.. Like spam thread lah this club..

Yest i pump Caltex.. Not bad lah.. The engine feels more powerful than Esso, especially around the 2.5k-3.5k region.. Can feel G-force.. hehe.. But the engine feels harsher and FC wise looks the same lah.. Maybe will try full tank Caltex and monitor for improvements.

Added on April 5, 2011, 2:17 pmSometimes the mapping lari a bit.. Our PE has moderately good pickup.. Just that sometimes the fuzzy logic system wrongly retunes our ECU.. My PE has very powerful and raw pickup. XDD

yeah thats naturally the design limitation of the Campro engine and the heavy car body of the PE..
Maybe ur car pick up is too bad.. Then reflashing may help improve ur low end.. U wont be able to beat a Myvi or Vios on 0-100 lah.. But at least u wont lose to a Kancil or Charade. If u want low end that can beat Myvi and Vios then u need to upgrade ur car.

U want balance torque and hp u can buy Lancer with the 4B11 engine.. Thats a square engine.. U want hi rev high top end power u get a Campro CPS.. u want good low end torque but useless top end u get a Toyota with DVVT-i..

Nope.. Its just reinstalling software.. Not changing hardware.. Give us ur feedback of the car once u get it back.

well if u can come out with a direct injection Campro with individual throttle body body and charger intake system for peach piston.. Confirm u will get at least 4-5hp more and very good FC.. Most continental cars are direct injection now.

No need to reflash everytime.. Cos u complaint ur car no pick up mah.. Thats y the SC call u back to check the software see got any encoding error or not.

Polo 1.4 turbocharged leh.. Continental car somemore.. Their turbo all design with lag free system and properly tuned mapping.. BMW and polo all their car turbo reach full boost at around 3k rpm.. Rev a bit can become road rocket ady lah.

Wasai i tell u.. Like got turbo for low end wei.. Even better than Esso.. I can feel the difference after like 20-30km driving.. Really very addictive.. And the car seems so revvy and powerful.. Really cant tahan loh and want to rev.. hehe.. I going to fill full tank for this saturday's trip ady..
Now my preference for petrol Caltex, Esso, Bhp,Petronas.. Shell bye bye.. Blacklist habis.

1) Check fuel pump
2) Water temp sensor
3) Maybe the previous owner replace with low boiling point coolant. Go for good coolant that has high boiling point. exp Denso. Its expensive for coolant but cheaper than replacing a cracked engine block.
4) Radiator clogged, check termostat release valve for failure.

Yeah same symptoms.. I go check and they issue me the warranty claim form ady.

See first after u install full hot bits how first.. Mb i will still go for powerzone lah. Cheaper.. Or i custom design one and sent to workshop to do.

LOL..No worries lah.. Do u know that BMW accessories have a design standards to adhere to? For example their headlamps are suppose to take impact from blunt objects at up to 200kmh without shattering.
