desire got adreno 200.

My experience not from Benchmark, but from using my friend's device. The new CPU very snappy, no lag. It also comes with better GPU and it is on 45nm.

erm..still having prob with proximity sensor on GB.
the sensor is not working while in call.
the screen didnt turn off if i put it at me ear and also didnt turn on when i hold it..
tried MIUI, but still same with CM 7.
weird that no one else having this prob..

well, the new S phones are sure tempting... i did think abt it, but decided to hold on and wait for dual core to become more popular first...

anyway, with vanilla Gingerbread it's pretty snappy in terms of performance...

I think for 1st or few more boot, it's longer then usual.
Be patient, the longer you use it, the more it cache it.
So as the battery life.....it will be longer after several days of running.

For me will wait till Root available before I decide. BTW Desire S coming or SGSII.

Why la buy 2k+ for just a 2nd gen 1Ghz

imo it only a small amount of % of improvement compared to Desire

GPU on Desire was almost fine, 2nd gen made it great.

45nm is just size lar. Optimisation should have but that's internal and I doubt we really know that much depending on Sense.
You can't tell if the 2nd gen is better or they made Sense more optimised.

As far as I can tell, the 2nd gen is slight-gimmickish
But hardware improvements is a good thumbs up though

Power consumption save is a real joker. It helps but....sigh dunno where to start explaining.

Very very very very very lazy to change atm,

Uninstall the 1 given by LeeDroid first...

Then only install ur kapoot version.

Then try again. ( I quick-setup gmail+getastro )

I'm 150% sure no problem. Already had to re-flash/wipe 4x on LeeDroid 2.4 already. Yeah that's how good it is.

Confirm the problem making my phone cant log in coz the spb shell 3d.. so lazy reonstall leedroid so just taking out sd card then can login n uninstall the god damn spb shell apps..

Back stock launcher, still the best. Whay widget weathet same like the spb shell weather widget?? Can see one day weather from morning till nighy.

QSD8250/QSD8650 Adreno 200 (in the Desire and many others) vs MSM8255/MSM8655 Adreno 205 (in the Desire S and many others). MSM8260/8660 Adreno 220 is way ahead (the 1.2GHz version in Evo 3D/Pyramid/Sensation). Note that QSD/MSMx6xx are for US market and QSD/MSMx2xx are for the rest of the world.
