I am using CM7 RC2 now. It's working great for me at this moment with nightly#31.
I wonder if RC3 have a lot of improvement over RC2....let's go study it.

Added on March 29, 2011, 2:11 pmhere's the changelog...

STEP-BY-STEP GUIDES :

.: USB METHOD :.

Be sure to Nandroid backup your device (just in case).
Download the latest Universal USB Installer or UnetBootin.
Download ISO Reflash Utility from AlphaRev website.
Install the software of your choice.
Open it, and select your USB device and your AlphaRev ISO freshly downloaded.
    Create your bootable USB key.
Reboot your computer and boot on the USB key you created.
Press any key to accept the disclamer.
Once you are in your ROM, plug your Desire with the USB cable on your computer.
/!\ DON'T TOUCH ANYTHING TILL YOU GET THE FINISH MESSAGE AT STEP 3 /!\

(Some users reports it can take over 1 hour. Passed this time, pull out the battery and reboot your phone).

I can't get to install USB thumb drive properly...
I've downloaded everything needed. But when choosing Linux Distribution drop menu (any of the list in menu), I can't find alpharev.iso (or even any .iso) file on the next choosing drop menu.

Anyone can help please....

Didn't do anything yesterday night.

OK...done. I am S-Off now.

Next...CM7 img, how do I move on from here?
The guide below is rclxub.gif

QUOTE
How to flash your recovery using ClockWork's image :

Download Clockworkmod 2.5.0.7 recovery image from official AlphaRev thread for bravo.
Move the file into "C:\android-sdk-windows\tools" (default sdk android folder's installation).
Verify MD5 checksum of the image with a freeware like HashCalc or something (IMPORTANT !).
Go to the main menu of your AlphaRev HBOOT (turn on your device with return button pressed).
    Go to "FASTBOOT" mode.
Go to your computer and open a new terminal (Administrator privileges required if Windows Vista or 7).
Enter exactly this (without ") : "fastboot flash recovery recovery-clockwork-2.5.0.7-bravo.img".

Added on March 31, 2011, 9:42 amah....now I know....I miss out this :

Note : If for some unknown reasons you cannot access your Recovery anymore, it's normal, you must flash your Recovery using "fastboot" (SDK Android Kit must be installed on your running computer).
You have the choice between flashing a custom recovery like ClockWork one or put the original one but I sugger you the custom one which gives you much many more features

Look for Fastboot Commander in xda.

Go fastboot mode, plug to PC, run fastboot commander on pc, find .img file for the recovery , flash & done.

Step 1

S-Off your device :
You need a rooted device.
QUOTE
Step 2

Download your ROM *.img from alpharev
Upload to your phone via FastbootCommanderV.1.1
You are done with 303mb of space instead of 143mb.

ouch . even in leedroid it adding more space

Leedroid is under Sense ROM, so you may end up 217MB.
I'm using CM7RC3, so I have left 302MB
Stock ROM is 147MB only...

so, what you waiting for....

RUU is easy. I did that couple days back.
Just leave your phone idle & connect to your pc with Android USB Driver (un-install HTC Sync).
Click on RUU & it will run by itself.

seems hard to find my stock ruu to unroot..
tried wwe, asia and uk ruu but all of them said error 131..

i plugged phone to pc and choose htc sync..
after htc synce prompted, i run the ruu which is exe file..is my method correct?

so planning to make goldcard to unroot..
possible right?

question about goldcard..

after make goldcard, can i revert it back to normal sd?
can i use my primary 8gb sd as goldcard?
coz i read most of them use 2gb/secondary sd to make goldcard..

my aim here is to unroot n use stock rom, not to use stock rom.. [cool.gif^-^

any 2.4 leedroid user here ? my 2.4 when reboot , it alway stull on LEEDROID word screen quite longggggggggGGg ..

anyone feel that too ?

or it because of my SPB shell 3d ?
*
I think for 1st or few more boot, it's longer then usual.
Be patient, the longer you use it, the more it cache it.
So as the battery life.....it will be longer after several days of running.
