Successfully update to leedroid 4.2.1 , man the ROM is indeed more faster n stable. Need recommendation on other ROM.

MIUI or insert coin? Wanna try other ROM. Been almost 8 mths on leedroid. Wanna try something new.

wanna ask you guys about rooting..
i have a desire SLCD set, with PVT4..stock 2.2 froyo.
tried to root with latest unrevoked3..at first everything is okay (got say this is huge triumph msg)..then reboot..took too long..(more than 20 minutes)..so i reboot from phone itself..no problem..but of course the root was considered unsuccessful,(no superuser app,etc2)..

So decided to rerun unrevoked3 and start over..
but now everytime i run all okay until it got msg says
Error:failed to get root.is your firmware to new?

help

same la like me...havent had the time to change rom...downloaded insert coin,rcmix,reflex s but after a few days got update somemore...luckily didnt flash yet...

Sincerely seek ur advise how to settle the problem and how to root? im reli frustrated to the internal memory usage keep increasing

google it or read the first post of this thread. they are many tutorial about rooting on the internet.

Check your HBOOT version. Ideally it should be 0.93 or an older version.
