hehe..but i read from net that if use gold card, cant update OTA..
correct me if im wrong..  blush.gif
*
Gold Card is for debranding, so yeah, you wont get OTA cause you actually don't need it, we have tons and tons of ROM that uses files extracted from up-to-date OTAs, and custom to perform better

How to answer your question?
When you ask that, you are expected to compare with something. Which is..?
If I compare with a ROM you never used, then the feedback is not useful for you isn't it?

Anywho all the ROMs I tried, it's about the same but the battery life really depends how you customise your phone. (I don't use APN and all that stuff so that 1 need to ask someone else)

AOSP battery life is good though  biggrin.gif

GPS depends on your Radio mainly.  - But the rom, no problems

MMS = tada guna
*
hmm i cant even setup MMS to work, so why use it? tell them: i send u in GMail d

Honest opinions from me:

3) Small issue. Workarounds all confirm to help. App2SD+ (meaning using ext type partitions) can allow you to install looottsss of apps (I got like 120ish, some users here have crazy amount of apps  doh.gif ) Space is no problemo. It's like your windows lar. If you make 2 partitions on your HDD, you can have 2 different Windows like Win 7 or XP... similar but in this case it's storage or usable...something. Idk , check out Ext 3 linux partition. There are glossaries on definitions on xda dev. TLDR; Can install until you don't have enough RAM to support  blush.gif

*
add-on explanation to this, now general roms are divided to couple types- based on storage space usages:
1/ data2ext
2/ data2whatever (includes data2ext)
3/ app2ext (a.k.a app2sd+)
4/ custom MTD (alpharev style)

*
i changed my capdase clear screen SP twice already, that was before i learn online purchase, now i ditch it d, not a very good SP also, easily get scratch damage, which is the capdase SP on my desire, a line scratch wide open on the screen, but lucky no damage to screen, maybe cause of my car keys scratch

Slow SD Transfer, you can try an app called "Multi Mount SD Card" from market
or if you're on MIUI_Au GB, you can try this (it might work with other ROM as well, but its from MIUI_Au so try it at your own risk tongue.gif)
personally I use the built-in FTP function, you'll need to install a FTP client on your PC first (e.g FileZilla), transfer speed stable at 2mbps

for Swype, try this, restore Swype KB via TB, then reboot your phone, see if it works, it worked for me

uhm, and the Sense magnifier, is it any different from the HD ROMs ones?
*
about swype, actually not only MIUI, my GingerVillain also incompatible with Swype, it will freeze itself occasionally, think it's the GB incompatible problem

try NetQin AV, it does scans, remote wipes, gps and remote lock - by using sms only to do that all, i got my codes in my sis phone there d, so if my hpone gets lost, the NetQin will sms my sis about a SIM change, and what code i enter wil ldecide which it will do, wipe, locate or lock

hmm... may i ask u something, what is the differ between the sense and miui ?? like CM7 and leedroid ??
*
sense is an interface designed by HTC, provides a wide array of widgets, including for FB and Twitter
MIUI is an interfacem designed by Chinamen, replicating the beauty of interface of IOS, so that you feel like holding a Desire with "IOS Inside"

to add new Gtalk to any rom I guess is simple. just push the apk
MIUI rom version update always slow, usually after stable CM. this round exceptional
which GingerSense in 2.3.4 now?  laugh.gif
*
GingerVillain is already in Ginger 2.3.4 since 30-04-2011, way before MIUI has it, btw MIUI is a non-sense ROM

Added on May 7, 2011, 1:55 pmMIUI is on May 6th, a week slower

Standby????
It will blink if got call/sms

Of course work with screen off....

It depends though.

If LED for charging, yes, but when u receive SMS/and such it may overwrite since ur charging so the LED = ALWAYS ON..

I don't think LED will be on the whole time though (Shortens LED lifespan) will blink when got SMS waiting/arrived or EMAILS/MMS etc
*
well, at least mine get a constant, non-blinking, blue LED when SMS comes in, that is on handcent SMS

Added on May 9, 2011, 10:44 pmbesides, LED are hard to burn out de, because they do not use tungsten, which will burn out

Bro, how to differentiate root or stock? my phone do nothing since i bought it..so consider what?
that means your phone is stock unrooted, so uses SD card to store app, and use up a whole lot more internal space than a2sd+
