uhh, HTC's camera isn't THAT bad to begin with,let alone the speaker, which is also fine actually

SGS: Better battery life and has a much better GPU and also the S-AMOLED screen. Sadly faces lag issues without applying a fix(also faces GPS issues IINM). Build quality is average

IS: Good build quality, average battery life, SLCD screen(Not as good as S-AMOLED), Better camera than the SGS but has a weird shaped back. 1GHZ 8255(Same as its predecessor, the DHD), and has more ram(768mb). Would help during multitasking. Biggest dealbreaker is that it has a locked bootloader.

P.S: and yes, khal. I have tested a few phones before.

TQ Astria... mindset weight more on X10 now.. btw, do u know Xperia Arc will cost how much?

Arc would cost around 2.5k on launch. IMO if you need the camera, go for the IS. The camera is pretty good.

Getting a smart phone but no data plan? what is the purpose of smart phone? you cannot online anytime at anyplace...must find wifi hotspot...like this better buy a normal phone right?

Not necessarily. If you're the kind who likes to stay connected all times then yes. If you're not, you can get the 1gb plan and switch off your mobile networks in the options.

. A smartphone does things a dumbphone can't. Just because you can't stay online all the time doesn't null its capabilities.. Just reduces it.
