raise your budget a little and get the Samsung Galaxy Ace. But O1 is good enough if you prefer having better build quality and like multitasking.

I is damned. Asked so many times, yet none is suitable.

I bumped up my budget to RM1.5K

Can I get HTC Incredible S for this price?
If not, go hell with it. I'll just wait for new gingerbread phones. hmm.gif

afaik AP sets are rm1.65k - rm1.7k...

besides, the first wave of GBread phones are all flagship devices...

else would be the previous flagship models like X10 and Desire which are receiving GBread updates in the coming 1-2mths...

honestly, i think no multitouch on X8 is not really a big deal... my mum is using and she never complains abt that...

but no GBread update? that's a deal breaker...

Milestone? that's old stuff dude.

Go for Milestone 2 or Droid 2 Global.
Both cost around 1.7k.

Wildfire is not a good choice. Either go for the Samsung Galaxy Ace(RM980) 5mp cam, 800mhz proc Adreno200(overclocked 7227)Not flash capable, 256(or was it 384)mb ram. Average build quality and hVGA resolution

Acer Liquid metal(RM1160)5mp(Sub par quality), 800mhz with Adreno205(7230) Flash 10.1 capable, 512mb ram. Good build quality and WVGA(800x480) screen resolution

Captivate(RM14xx) 1ghz proc with GTX540(best GPU to date)(also flash capable), Super Amoled screen, 5mp camera(no flash), 512mb ram. Good build quality and WVGA reso

Motorola Defy(RM14xx) 1ghz Adreno 205, Shockproof/waterproof, Gorilla glass, flash 10.1 capable, 5mp camera, 512mb ram, Not sure about build quality and WVGA reso

a little over the budget but

HTC Incredible S(RM16xx AP Set)1ghz adreno 205, good 8mp camera, front camera, 4" screen, 768mb ram. Good build quality and WVGA reso.
Samsung phone.
I certainly hope you do not recommend the Xt720 again.

Hello Android fans.

I'm wondering if there's any new Android phones under RM1000? Don't care about brand or spec. Just need it to run on at least Froyo.

I'm developing an Android app and need a phone for testing purposes.

Any recommendation?
