me too. actually the design will grow on you. i hated it at first. you know how some girls become more and more beautiful the more you look at them? while some girls look damn hot at first but after a while, you find that they dont really look that good? haha its like the former. go touch and feel it and give it a while before you decide!

Hey guys, I just went to Digital Mall's Acer shop at the Ground floor to check out the stock availability and one of the staff told me that they will re-stock in around 1-2 days. I personally haven't tested out the model but it looks promising. Hope it will clear my bad impression about Acer.

notroxcity didn't say u are an acer hater la, mate he just said that acer haters are probably hating the fact that we acer fans have peace of minds since acer is so good in quality and performance..

The Acer store at BTS 2nd floor IT Centre is selling 4830TG NOW .

It's the shop near the west entrance, not the one from asian avenue, the other one near a celcom shop if i'm not mistaken.

The shop has a big ACER name on it. you can't possibly miss it

Yeah, the specs are less powerful, the battery life is shorter, it's a little heavier...but the design is so much nicer (especially in real life), that I am actually going to pick this over the 4830tg

Plus, the standard non-chiclet keyboard is so much easier and faster to type on... But still, despite the ugly design (my subjective point of view), the acer 4830tg is just better in every aspect. Ha ! I would rather stare at the g4 everyday than the acer 4830tg.

The outer look of laptop actually does not become a concern of me if the spec is good...

Cooler Master U2 is a popular choice.

As the years go by, the specs in your laptop become less relevant, and the outer look is the only thing that persists overtime. The only concern for me is having a good processor and a decent graphics card (nvidia or ati), so I can choose pretty much any laptop.

I played around with the G4, nothing special .

Just left digital mall, almost kena poison by MacBook pro. My friend die die insist I should get it. Make me have 2nd thoughts lol. Anyway I got a cooler master x lite for my 4830 hehe. Tempted to get a razer mouse next!

The seller in lowyat plaza told me that, Acer have stock now, juz haven't release it yet. Anyone knows how long does it take for Acer to release their stock???!!!
