yea, it always more RM100... but for safe, i still will inform ppl @ RM2699 tongue.gif
yea, both should be more or less the same price, wont differ a lot...
that is dilemma for us to choose which once n43sl out...
but rumours say that n43sl will only be out mid of may... which make me to consider 4830tg biggrin.gif

yea. i dont beleive it. few decades ago. people frustated waiting for asus n bought acer instead. this time round 4830tg turn the tide. some forumers end up buying a43 n n53. i think acer dint anticipate the hotness of this model which is a shame bcoz in computer world things gonna loose impact fast. tech gonna be replace even faster! i bet when n43sl n llano comes , 4830 is just gonna be another lappy to consider

on other part of the world , its also the same. people are still waiting for x830 series. ive read from notebookcheck forum theyre dieing of waiting over there! laugh.gif

btw there a lot of foreign vids on youtube now. highly poisonous too i might add. waiting might be hurt but waiting mean posible encounter of newer model which is great! brows.gif

AMD Llano VS i7 Sandy Bridge

u shud definitely check the link above.watch its youtube videos. a8-3510MX, is overall better than an i7 sandy bridge. however, if stricly computational power perspective, i7 wins. smile.gif

owh yeah, an AMD Llano A8-3510MX is fitted w a HD6620 GPU, from the model number, it shud b better than HD6550 ( HD 5650 ). juz imagine, an AMD cpu + GPU notebook, it most probably much cheaper than an Intel cpu + AMD gpu notebook. owh yeah, AMD llano can do hybrid crossfire, with a discrete gpu. how cool is dat.

i7 sandy bridge(32nm) = 35W, AMD APU LLANO (32nm) = 45W, great TDP!

Honsetly, I've no idea what all these numbers mean.. But from the contex, llano seems much better! When it's coming anyways? Two more years?

Yeah, something like that  laugh.gif
But it doesn't really matter whether its 1GB or 2GB.. the most important thing is that the chipset flaw is fixed~

Anyway, the 4830Tg's battery won't "heat up fast" the problem is that the battery is built-in... so the heat generated by the laptop will "kill" the battery  sad.gif
*
Exuse me Mr. Sifu. I've got a question regarding the battery.
Now, if I have a laptop with non-built-in battery, and was using it in gaming using the battery. Now, isn't it the same case as the built-in battery? Both are being used, then what makes the 4830tg battery so concern if it's used the same as an ordinary battery ?

Normally the rationale that a non-built-in battery is better if you game a lot is that you can plug it in and remove the battery.

However for myself, I game with it in anyways because I prefer peace of mind when working and gaming as the battery acts like a UPS.
*
That's it ? That's all ? Then they are same!
I have an idea, what about charging the battery full then when the battery is full, it'll stop charging and work like there is no battery ( like it's only plugged in with no battery )
Whatcha think ? sweat.gif

The problem here is not overcharging or anything.. It's the heat generated from laptop
When gaming which would degrade the lifespan of the battery..
*
Oh, I see .,. Just thought about this! But actually it doesn't really concern me that much :].
My main concern is why I can't extend international warranty and battery warranty ... And what to do if it spioled! Its expense and if it's gonna available normally!
Can anyone contact with Acer and ask them about battery and share please ? I don't know how to...

me too. actually the design will grow on you. i hated it at first. you know how some girls become more and more beautiful the more you look at them? while some girls look damn hot at first but after a while, you find that they dont really look that good? haha its like the former. go touch and feel it and give it a while before you decide!

I made my order just now! I will get the laptop @ 6pm tonight.
Upgraded the RAM to 8GB. (+RM130)
I didn't want those free gifts(20 items, but they're something which I think I won't use them!) and got a discount RM80.
Extended its warranty to 3 years too @ RM170.
Total = RM 2499 - RM80 + RM130 + RM170 = RM2719 blink.gif

Upgraded ram to 8g for only 130 ? A really good price ! Or is it the standard ? -.-
