What's a sink setter?

Basically, it's an adjustable support bracket for undermount sinks. I like it because it give me the option of removing my expensive sink without having to dismantle any cabinet bases.

Never used it personally, but I suppose it's a very famous brand for granite sinks

And btw, where do u get these sink setters? If it can be used on cement tops, I might consider getting one too. It looks a bit flimsy though, to balance so much weight on metal bars. Can it take the weight of granite sinks? Are u planning to use a granite sink?

The price of granite blanco sink after conversion is abt rm1xxx, I felt it is still reasonable given the brand name.

Want to ask under mount and over mount sink does it cost anything difference in price when it comes to do the table top or cabinet?

Blanco is one of the popular brand for granite sinks but granite sinks can crack if not careful with how you use the sink.

Anyway that sink setter video shows the sink setter screw to the wood. Need screws etc but I don't know if it works with concrete top

They're available on Amazon.com. I'm pretty sure they could work with concrete countertops. It rests on the wood cabinet carcass so it should be able to take the weight of a granite sink. You basically have to variations, front to back installation or side to side installation. Pretty good reviews on Amazon.

I'm planning on using 45 inch Kohler Stages stainless steel sink. Saving up right now just for that. biggrin.gif

Hi all, If my condo has already a single unit sink installed into my kitchen cabinet would it be hard to install a double sink?

DO i have to change my whole kitchen top or i can just cut a hole?

Are the cabinets already built in? If they are, then might not be so easy to change. But if no built in cabinets then yes, just enlarge the hole

I'm researching on this as well but my main question is can it be easily removed in the future? I heard replacing an undermount is really troublesome

Hi, so far we only change d sink when it crack or leak. Ppl says granite sink is last longer. So once it installed as undermount, I wont be changing it.

What is the minimum thickness of the sink we should look at?
How about minimum stainless steel grade?
