FYI, tuscani's sink is just new in the market i guess may b a few months only. They are also imported from china.

Sorento Sinks are durable, beautiful and affordable, been selling them for many years, no complain so far.

my under cabinet smells damp even though the sink & pipes are not leaking. I tried putting a hypo thirsty in the cabinet and it turned all liquid only after a few days. I didn't put anything else inside it so my guess is the condensation from the sink?

Should not be damp at all under the sink cabinet. When your plumber installed the sink drainer and tap, did he put in a layer of plumber's putty? Ot its just the rubber seal and perhaps some silicone?

I don't know cause I'm the third batch to rent this place. All kitchen cabinets and sinks were already here when I moved in. But the same situation is in my mum's house. But again, I don't know what did the plumber did because my mum's house was renovated in the 90's.

But if we look at current, aren't a lot of people opt for aluminium kitchen doors with holes for the sink area (from the pics I saw in Kitchen Cabinet thread)? What causes them to use that? hmm.gif

If someone can tell me that nowadays sinks are much better and does not cause damp smell except that we needed a good plumber, that's actually a very good news to me cause I really hate that smell. It will just stuck in my nose (and head) all day if I smell it. shakehead.gif Yucks!

I got a Bareno granite sink. It seems it's from Germany and price is reasonable. Original brand is shook or schlock, I think.

hi zheilwane,

i'm not sure whether ur the son or the father of this company. If ur the son, then i wanna say thank you. If you're Thomas, then i would like to log a complaint against you. Today my contractor went to your shop on behalf for me to measure the hob that i ordered but Thomas threaten and humiliated my contractor on the spot. This is very bad as i saw a lot of good feedback here and I was shock that this is happen to my contractor. Now i'm not happy and not satisfied with the service provided by you. My contractor just need to measure the hob perfectly so that it can fit into my concrete top before it arrived but he been treated like slave. Very bad service and very bad attitude. sad.gif

This is not acceptable and I demand apologies from Thomas to my contractor and me.

Note : I had make 30% payment for my hood and hob.

I personally dealt with zheilwane @ BH and I can vouch that they are difenately not the kind of people as described by ra2zy's contractor. Quite the opposite in fact. thumbup.gif
