Those who use a mixer (Hot/Cold water) for kitchen sink, will the hot water cause the stainless steel problems? Is granite sink better for this?

QUOTE(banana_glee @ Sep 10 2011, 02:01 AM) I'd like to ask, if I am to change the current single sink to a double sink on my granite kithen counter top, do u cut the countertop to fit a double sink? It will come as part of the sink installation or do I have to get a contractor to do it? So many questions are raised by this.Granite top, can be re-cut after installation? Regular contractor got skill to cut Granite top? Second cut not weaken the the overall structure? After instalattion, granite top can be recut on the spot? Granite top can be uninstalled to take back to re-cut? Better go to Kitchen Cabinet Thread..... This post has been edited by phoenix69: Sep 10 2011, 12:29 PM |

Granite sinks price seems to be coming down.
Can be a realistic alternative choice soon. |

QUOTE(ra2zy @ Nov 30 2011, 11:31 PM) hi zheilwane, I personally dealt with zheilwane @ BH and I can vouch that they are difenately not the kind of people as described by ra2zy's contractor. Quite the opposite in fact. i'm not sure whether ur the son or the father of this company. If ur the son, then i wanna say thank you. If you're Thomas, then i would like to log a complaint against you. Today my contractor went to your shop on behalf for me to measure the hob that i ordered but Thomas threaten and humiliated my contractor on the spot. This is very bad as i saw a lot of good feedback here and I was shock that this is happen to my contractor. Now i'm not happy and not satisfied with the service provided by you. My contractor just need to measure the hob perfectly so that it can fit into my concrete top before it arrived but he been treated like slave. Very bad service and very bad attitude. This is not acceptable and I demand apologies from Thomas to my contractor and me. Note : I had make 30% payment for my hood and hob. |

QUOTE(alkazoid2 @ May 7 2012, 01:45 AM) I'm interested in 50-50 split under-mount composite granite kitchen sink (less than 3 ft, 8-9 inch depth)... any recommendation where to get one? I found top-mount composite granite sink, but how easy is going to be applied to my granite counter-top? The reason I'm not favouring top-mount is I want the sink to be easily flush and clean the water that spilt to the granite top... those top-mount with silicon normally is a bit higher (not flat) than the granite counter-top.. Top mount sinks can be converted to undermount. |
