Yeah i saw that from his post in geekhack. dam imba. coz i just found out that the leopolds chuah is bringing in is laser etched. from the start i tot it was double shot molded cry.gif dayumm. o well i'll just experience my 1st mech kb b4 i consider getting upgrades tongue.gif

The glossy frame of the BW does indeed look ugly, but the keys themselves aren't glossy from what I saw at the store...

So there's always the option of taking off the top ugly glossy side frame of the Blackwidow... and sandpaper it to matte perfection.  brows.gif

The leopolds and the FILCOs are going to cost more than BlackWidow Expert while competitive to the BWU based on previous discussions in V1. Otherwise you can start a WTB thread and see who wants to sell you their BWE

Colors are not my taste aso. But i love the color black. Double shot black keycaps would be awesome happy.gif but it comes with a price sad.gif

I was referring to grey keycaps ala the double shots from GH
I m thinking that either Black blanks + red 37 keys + red esc/GH/Panic, or White Blanks on Black keyboard, those look sexy

not quite, there is a way to change just the spring without needed to solder/resolder. of course that requires some skill :/

i tried to take off the spring and the middle part from my 6gv2... but failed...

Warning : That is only works for PCB mounted Board, which is Cherry Keyboard.

Do not try this on Filco, Steelseries, Ducky, Razer they are steel/aluminum plated Mounted and they do requires soldering.

Again, Do not try this because it will break the switch if your keyboard is steel/aluminum plated.
