Hmm, i wanted to collect some information here, Since the first batch Leopold Cherry MX 104 Key FC300R/500R will be mainly Focus Cherry MX Red Switch.

So... now i wanted to know how many of you prefer otaku version over normal version(otaku version means, all key will be blank without any lettering AKA Blank Key Cap)
You can even ask for the JP version.(but i doubt people are gonna get JP version thou =/)

So everyone will be happy to have a choice. Please tell me anything you want from this website and i'll try to bring in.(Must be Leopold Product Thou LOL)

But some people might be quite confuse why Leopold Keyboard has multiple versions like FC300R, FC500R, so i'll make some explaination here.
The model number has something to do with the layout.
FC300R = Korea Layout(Possible to only have English Lettering as well as Blank)
FC500R = US Layout(Possible to have Blank)

I don't like the layout for the Big Enter Keys. Did not realize I order the Big Enter Key layout until the keyboard arrived at KLIA.

The only difference I can see is the layout. One is ANSI, one is Chinese ISO (big Enter key)

none of the above is double shot. those high cost Keycaps are consider quite rare and expensive.

The first link you given, if i'm not mistaken, it is Laser Etched + Pad Printed with Coating.

The second link is just Laser Etched,

each keycap cost $1.50 USD, so here it's roughly RM4.50 per key caps. Shipping from them to Malaysia is $5.50 USD(will be share among users that join with this purchase) Keycaps Order Max Quantity is 15.

Btw, did you get the black on black key caps? to be honest, i have one set as well. But for quality comparison, The quality on the Key caps between on Keyboard and another free key cap set has difference. Keyboard Key caps has higher quality, and silk screen printing has some minor difference which can be notice able.

So, it just come with black on black, and free black on black?

I thought it came with white on black instead?

well, it depends on person's taste, each users on mechanical keyboard with different switches tends to have different feedback.

The market and computer manufacturers do not think so though...

Tablet sale is start to rising and netbook is start to die off. Acer said that they will drop off netbook by 1-2years to come.
A good touch oriented OS will eliminate the need of a keyboard(even virtual one) as input. The only problems that remain is the cost(the price is still falling with the increase in market, supply and competition) and good input replacement to replace the role of kb(some ppl suggest sound recognition huh?). It is just the matter of time till those 2 problems being solved.

I believe with more and more well integrated virtual keyboard(like swype? but it not really suitable on huge screen) coming.

I also believe that some high quality and interesting touch screen based Action games/MMORPG will sure put another nail onto the coffin of mainstream laptop/desktop...
