What's the 雷射雕刻鍵帽?

http://global.pchome.com.tw/?mod=item&func...0X&ROWNO=4&tm=u

What is the difference between these two (in terms of keycaps)?

http://global.pchome.com.tw/?mod=item&func...0X&ROWNO=3&tm=u

Which one is double shot?
*
none of the above is double shot. those high cost Keycaps are consider quite rare and expensive.

The first link you given, if i'm not mistaken, it is Laser Etched + Pad Printed with Coating.

The second link is just Laser Etched,

BTW, to Cyclone,

I want to suggest that we compile in those offer of cheap 1st hand boards available that is below the RM200 benchmark even after postage at 1st post. It will sure promote more ppl to try it out instead on those RM500 filco... rolleyes.gif
Recommendation 1:(the legendary double shots keycaps and super compact footprint)
http://item.taobao.com/item.htm?id=8586204510

Recommendation 2:(full keyboard with 6KRO? thee box write NKRO...)
http://www.armygroup.com.tw/shop/goods.php?id=4707

If this success, we can post up a best buy section for it(include 2nd board) like GH there. icon_idea.gif

Lol, you seems to crazy about that small size double shot keyboard xD

Hmm...With laser etched is better I guess?
Can those key caps last long (the letters wont be teared off easily, 'cause my hands are sweaty)?
BTW, the leopold red you bringing in is what kind of keycap?

still waiting for reply from that korean. might be long time thou.

because i might think about getting a sandblast unit before getting those metal key caps, if it shipped here, and i found some flaws, i'll sandblast them myself.

rockccf, i can't confirm which one last longer, because good quality pad printed sometimes can last longer than laser etch provided if pad printed have coating.

But if Laser etched has coating as well, then laser will last longer.(But the problem is, not many Laser Etched Key has coating)

So Laser Etched still last longer than pad printed. But Laser Etched tends to have one flaw, that is it will change it's white color a tiny little bit to yellow, because of your sweat and skin waste.

Leopold Red is Laser etched, i heard Leopold is developing new type of key caps, so i'm looking forward to it LOL.

if you're really interested in Filco, please wait until Edifier got them, and then wait for the price announcement for Filco product.

Edifier do provide warranty for them right ?

I recorded it too lol

using Blackwidow Expert. No problem here.

Iphone4lover showed some tips to overcome this problem in previous thread.

1. Click all keys one by one slowly and notice if there is any keys stuck or click differently than others. For example, some keys is semi-faulty and produce a ''thud'' sound instead of ''tick''.

2. Press down your Spacebar and see if it will drag the Alt/X keys beside down too. This is a well known built flaw for BWE/U. If you face it, remove the spacebar and clean off some extra plastic which cause the overlapping.

The double shot isn't my main concern actually, the main reasons I like it because the incurve keycaps(wanna try if it feel as good or near as Logitech's one), something produced by UK company(wanna see if the QC is good), the layout and last but not the least, THE PRICE sweat.gif

Added on March 22, 2011, 4:11 pm
Filco is cheap at Japan, even the LEGENDARY TOPRE also much cheaper at Japan... sweat.gif

Not, really unless the keyboard are in stock clearance state, then you'll see it sells cheaper.

if you see the retail price of the keyboard posted on their official website, you can noticed. and for Clevery Store, i know about them.

For HHKB, they have multiple versions and each version are kinda similar to each other you need to take a good look for notice the difference since the version have a big price difference.

Note that with the exchange rate a Topre 103U still runs around $225 US and Elitekeyboards sells it for $237 so don't expect dramatic price deals. This is true it seems for most electronics in Japan - you're going shopping more just to be able to try out in the store various keyboards all in one place.

you can see here, Ripster has traveled to japan Clevery store to look and brought keyboard.
here's a list of English Keyboard : http://www.clevery.co.jp/eshop/e/e2150200/
