did u remove it from the recycle bin as well?

The recycle bin is empty. Dunno where the deleted files went.

Try Right Click your drive @ My Computer, Properties, General Tab, Disk Cleanup, Files rom all users on this computer, More Option Tab, & Cleanup System Restore and Shadow Copies.

You should get a few gigs out of the cleanup.

Cheers and please update once it is done ya.

Yes, this somehow did the trick, but it is not consistent. Sometime it works, some other time it doesn't.

Try freeware Ccleaner. Very effective to do clean up.

shift-delete it. if u delete files using normal delete to recycle bin + emptying it, windows still have the files on ur HDD for restore.

don't trust me? icon_idea.gif try this. go to folder option, enable show hidden files and show system files. go to drive where u install OS, there will be a folder called recycler. inside is where all your files or porns are rolleyes.gif ...
work on any partition you have

I have Vista Business free for student. Haven't yet to install it. I'm planning to use it after my purchase for new systems by the end of this year hopefully. I wonder if the product key have any expiration date if it haven't been used at all?

It's campus launch event. All MMU staff and student are eligible to get their free copy of Vista business OEM. Collecting stamps each booth by answering few simple questions, then you have your vista product-key. Sound very simple, but it ain't. The lines is killing us. Too many people. Most of us queued for at least 3-5hrs.

Yeah, and its getting even worst. Most of the product key they gave happen to be invalid. We have to resend the invalid key via email for a new valid product key. Some rare cases received another invalid key. blink.gif

tha't s just windows prefetch working it's magic. Everybody has teh same thing happening, and no, it's not a problem as Vista is using every available RAM that it can use. Only when RAM usage exceeds 100%, then you have a reason to panic
