guys, any good video player for our phone?
i cant play mp4 and avi with mVideoPlayer.

use arconis partiton manager to detect ur sd card. make sure ur laptop has the sd card reader. not external one.

rezise ur fat32 partition to ur need. just need 1gig ext3 enough and swap linux 64mb. (calculate on ur own for the fat32)
for easy method, just backup all the important sd card. use the rom manager to partition ur sd card..
choose ext partition 512MB (max value), Swap size (64MB). and wait the process complete.

That is strange ; mVideoplayer can play all my mp4 and avi files including apple formatted m4v

cannot use card reader? use phone oso kenot? got meh laptop with internal sd card reader?mine one got bigger size of card reader only @@

cannot use external card reader and also phone.. the software will not recognize it.

use build in card reader.. aiya, u need the micro sd extension adapter la.. not only the micro sd (small one) itself.

flashing not really that hard.. it easy..

just follow this.

1. rooting process (for having the superuser in ur phone)
a. install z4root.apk
b. run the z4root
c. make sure u has wifi connection.
d. select the permenant root

if the rooting failed, start again from c.

After rooting done, u should have the "SuperUser" at menu.

2. install the ROM Manager (for install custom recovery)
a. download and install the rom manager. (free version should be enough)
b. make sure wifi on and can surf internet.
c. run rom manager.
d. select the "flash clockworkmod recovery"
e. select the "commtiva z71 (boston, blaze, and more)
f. there should bar indicate the download process at the top. wait download to be complete. around 3mb+
g. after finish. it will popup that flash already complete.. u can try by "reboot into recovery". if green recovery exists, mean this process complete. go to next step.

if the process failed, start again from b.

3. backup the stock rom using rom manager
a. run rom manager
b. select "backup current rom"
c. give it a name as u like
d. press ok
e. wait the phone reboot and it will automatic backup all the stock rom.

4. install the Phantom King rev2d ( after u backup stock rom)
a. download the PK nb0.
b. make sure u install the SUTLR
c. connect ur phone via USB but, DONT MOUNT THE SD CARD
d. run the SUTLR and browse to the PK nb0
e. Press next because there will state ur device connected
f. Press next again and it will start flashing.. DO NOT DISCONNECT UR PHONE!!

5. finish - after flashing, there will be android logo. change language and customize as u like....

yes, u just need wifi to install Flash ClockworkMod Recovery. other than that, u can do offline

phantom king rev3 :rainbow almost out...so save ur time from flashing rev2..

Yeah.. damn.. some shit happened. I need to revert to original rom and claim warranty. How do I do that? I already backup the original rom before.

Added on March 31, 2011, 8:57 amI tried to use Rom manager and Manage and Restore Backup, I selected the backup I wanted to restore. Then it prompt me to "to reboot in recovery mode to restore"... then.. I say yes.. the phone goes to the booting screen with "Enter recovery mode"
but it just couldn't go into recovery mode. It will flash a bit and then.. reboot back to the normal state.

Okay.. I've followed your advice and it's working now. Restoring original ROM. God help me that it work!

Guys.. some advice to share!.

What happened to me was. When I got the phone, I slip in my broadband Sim card. I din use my phone sim card coz' I don't have a data plan on my phone sim card. So, for days, I was playing with the phone with my broadband sim card till I've downloaded everything I want. Yesterday, I finally slip in my phone sim card. Everything was working all right... till I receive my first phone call.

THE EAR PIECE IS NOT WORKING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Plug in headphones only can work! ARGH!  So? How? I have to claim warranty lor!

And when I restart, the Phantomking screen is still there. How do I restore that thing?

Yeah... I read about that. Hope I'll be as lucky as them. I've flashed back to my original rom. But dunno why, my sim card just can't register.

yes it is. lets say u wanna buy samsung galaxy 5? add more 100 (i think price for mi300 now 599 at lowyat) u can have 3.2" multitouch screen (glxy 5 is 2.8"), 5mp camera! (glxy 5 is 2mp), gps wifi and more!

comes with android 2.1 but some of developers here had even make the rom for 2.3! nice is it?
