btw yeah i've used the restore from 2.1 nandroid backup (not so stock anymore) to flash another 2.2... most of the times its ok.but not advisable.

among errors i've encountered (with/without wipe data after restore 2.1 before flashing)

- IMEI 'lost' = no network access
- infinite loop @bootscreen of newly flashed rom
i'd like to say again..it works but not advisable

swiftkey, better keyboard...
my swype works fine...until recently it stop swyping.

then i update it, swyping is good to go.

if you really like swype (which i really do)

i'd suggest you register & download the swype installer, to get latest ver & updates.

i just kinda get the feeling that once a newer version is up, the current version on phone stops swyping...maybe..

totally. but u'll have to 'teach' it. as it learns and inserts new words as you type. later on the words are swpe-able say if ur a heavy sms-er 2-3 days will teach it lotsa words

apart from english, i heavily use shortforms & sarawak malay for sms

just delete it via root manager install another keyboard 1st if no other keyboard is installed..just to be safe.

No need to download full NBO for Rev2 (asked Phantom myself )

Just use update script to update from rev1 to rev2
UPDATE SCRIPT

Click on the image and use the SL4A -> Choose Add + Barcode Scan -> Click on the name of the script -> Choose the 1st icon
They need an internet connection
Go to download at least 5MB

Changelog :

increased battery life, gingerbread sounds, flashlight app fixed.

On SL4A after it say no superuser , press enter and aloow and wait

I failed to flash my theme .. recovery error code (0)

here the solution:

WORKAROUND for recovery error (Status 0):
1. unzip your rom and find
META-INF/com/google/android/update-binary file
2. put this file in UOT zip (overriding UOT's file)
well , i cant get meta-inf/com/google/android/update-binary file from phantom rom coz it is in Nb0!!

guys need help...i reflash my phone twice using SUT to phantom king rev1 coz i got mistake when the phone got into somesort of screen saver n i thought its corrupt or sumthing...the 1st time i use SUT my update option is none the second i redo again my update option is erase data...can i know whats the diff between this 2 option...and i try to flash my stock rom back but rom manager comes out with error...

Is class 4 enough for our phone ?? To read app from our micro sd card .
