just delete it via root manager install another keyboard 1st if no other keyboard is installed..just to be safe.

btw yeah i've used the restore from 2.1 nandroid backup (not so stock anymore) to flash another 2.2... most of the times its ok.but not advisable.

among errors i've encountered (with/without wipe data after restore 2.1 before flashing)

- IMEI 'lost' = no network access
- infinite loop @bootscreen of newly flashed rom
i'd like to say again..it works but not advisable

swiftkey, better keyboard...
my swype works fine...until recently it stop swyping.

then i update it, swyping is good to go.

if you really like swype (which i really do)

i'd suggest you register & download the swype installer, to get latest ver & updates.

i just kinda get the feeling that once a newer version is up, the current version on phone stops swyping...maybe..

flashed 2.3 rom but ends up stuck at CSL boot screen.
tried with clockworkmod method and nb0 method.both failed.any recommendations?

Last night,i tried to flash back to CM7RC2 but no mobile network signal.

can go download mode? try restore to stock rom 1st and try
make sure when u restore to store the imei num is there

already made backup via CW recovery.So i can boot normally using backup ROM.will try to flash 2.1 1st.
BTW,how to make sure i store IMEi number?any option during backup?

no such option. thats why its advisable to back to 2.1 before attempting flash again.
