noob here
can flash directly 2.3 rom into 2.1?

i've flashed few HTC android before.
if .zip extension mean flasing process took part in hp rite?by boot into recovery mode,izzit?

flashed 2.3 rom but ends up stuck at CSL boot screen.
tried with clockworkmod method and nb0 method.both failed.any recommendations?

already made backup via CW recovery.So i can boot normally using backup ROM.will try to flash 2.1 1st.
BTW,how to make sure i store IMEi number?any option during backup?

i flashed ROM for stok SPICE Mi300 INDIA even im on standard ROM.
open SUT,flash my desired ROM,ok?
or any step i missed?

anythings i did seems doesnt work
im currently on stock 2.1 ROM
flashed with SUT,my phone can boot but still boot in stock ROM even i choosed custom ROM.(it shows error bla bla bla in SUT)
using CW recovery,it just stuck at CSL logo.

managed to flashed phantom king 2 but touch screen not responding.cant pass android setup.Anyone know y?

need to root before flash?

guys,tried install phantom king 1 and 2 but both stuck at android setup wizard.Touch screen not working.What i did wrong?i started with 2.1 rom for each flashing process,really need your help.

mean that need install clockworkmod recovery?

did wipe cache, factory reset bla bla....still not working.installed CW recovery 2.5.1.0 via ADB.
this is my 5th times flashing stock rom,in order to get froyo in my device
really headache.
or do i need to root the stock rom 1st before flashing custom rom?

still no luck

here's what i did.
1.flashed stock ROM
2.Root with z4root
3.flashed custom ROM
4.push image recovery via ADB
5.boot into recovery,wipe all
6.Reboot system

Result,still the same.touch screen not working.

i tried to root my stock 2.1 rom using z4root,universal androot and even superoneclick.All failed.Donno what to do dy.

havent succeed flashing rom into this fon.able to boot but just stuck at setup wizard,touch screen not responding.
one of the forumer here said that samsung chip cant load custom rom,but i read kaskus forumer managed to do that.
really headache...
any other requirement to look before flashing such as baseband or kernel version?

u mean housing or what?
if housing,just repaint then it will look new again.hehe
