i use the rev2.

this is the 2nd time i flash the rev2.. but, with the prcedure going back to 2.1 1st.

the 1st time im using it is without problem. im not sure what cause this. maybe i try to reflash again.

i already clear all the cache before download clean rom.

Did you guys clear Dalvik cache, cache partition before flashing the new rom ?
I am on Phantom rev2 and frankly I do not face not even one force closures for past few days
I make it a practice to even clear data/factory reset before flashing new rom - I repeat this step after the new rom is installed
GPS is perfect - I use Aura

If you are facing FC on certain apps - just go to settings/applications - find the app - clear data. If problem still persists, uninstall it and reinstall

its okay for me,no affect.
but now i can't play pes2011 in this rom,cnt download the game content

wanna ask here.. while im reverting to the foxcon v2.1 original, i get this error after finish..

error code :0x4000

error :task 2 of 2, restore phone fail
error = device_not_configure (0x4000)
init mode = emergency download mode

is this error effect my spice??

Else, I did this, using GPS Status from the app market, and download the data..

And my gps locked within like..5 secs afterward

Troubleshooting:

According to this kind of error,i just reinsert my battery & get into recovery mode by pressing camera button+volume up+power button then just replug usb cable back to pc.Then continue by pressing next button on SUT.

normally my phone will just display "charging"..but reboot into recovery mode normally will fix the problem, just press reboot.

i thoug should be download mode when using sut?

guys, 1 question.

i installed Cyanogen MOD 7 for Z71 - Build 34 right after i bought the phone. i notice some problem with the battery & sd-card, and planning to change the rom. if i wanted to change to other rom, can i directly install or have to convert to stock first before doing it?

I'd recommend flash back to ori 2.1 rom, the link on the first page would do as well...or any custom 2.1 rom [that's what I did]...else you might potentially lost your IMEI (which can be fixed if restore to 2.1 rom)..

Added on March 19, 2011, 7:13 pmNot necessary to flash back to stock rom 2.1,just use clockwork rom manager and install which CM7 bla..bla..you want to and wipe all data.In case if you use nb0 file,you need to use SUT to flash.

Correct me if i was wrong

havent succeed flashing rom into this fon.able to boot but just stuck at setup wizard,touch screen not responding.
one of the forumer here said that samsung chip cant load custom rom,but i read kaskus forumer managed to do that.
really headache...
any other requirement to look before flashing such as baseband or kernel version?
