Guys, want to check whether Treatpoints or Membership reward can be redeem to credits? example like 10000 treatpoint gives you around RM$$$ credit

TreatsPoints(TP) - cannot redeem for RM
Membership Rewards(MR) - can redeem for RM1 = 200MR

I called cs last night to request for an upgrade... and the cs told me need to utilize the card for 6months then only call them for upgard.
I asked if i could provide all those document required, ie payslip, BE form etc... she said no.. still need to utilize the card for 6month... damn...
Thinking to cancel it.. no point to hold so many gold card...

apply for platinum, u can get rm100 cashback together with ur gold card

thanks ronnie, another question. Does if redeem, the credit goes to the card (Pay the outstanding) or to my maybank2u saving account?

i am pretty sure that it hs been pointed out by a previous poster that you are only entitled for max RM50 cashback even when you have both the MBB2 gold and plat.

hmm... i think read some post few page back.. each card holder is only can get max RM50 rebate per month... no matter how many sets card you have... correct me if i'm wrong...

Collected yesterday my amex+visa.

Super fast. Just provide 3 month pay slip, IC and one of previous gold card for credit limit.

i applied on Mon via agent, havnt even been updated in the system
guess i wil pay a visit at the branch next week, if stil no news.

Went to 1U Card Centre and apply directly. I opt for VISA as well initially they tell me take 2 weeks because VISA is different card centre to process the card.

But was surprised they call me to collect yesterday at the card centre itself.

Try not to apply outside via roadshow or sales agent as the process will take longer since they will have to submit back to the card center for processing. Unless you want the free gifts they have to offer then it would be different.

oh 1 u, the card centre. Not the branch? no wonder is soo fast.

Submitted my application on last Tuesday... going to check the status next week. Any alternative to check the status other than calling them?

1U quite fast approval, they process faster than normal Maybank branches, for my card, only 2 weeks time, approved and received.

Maybe the approval comes from 1U directly...

Seems like everyone's approval is very fast.. Why my card application has so many problems le.. sigh

I am using petronas card but plan to change to this cause it has better benefit than my current one. But does it gives 5x point for petronas or any petrol station as well? Anyone has experiences this?? Many thanks.

Any petrol station that accepts Amex will give you 5x points. However all Petronas do not accept Amex at the pump and only a few accept in store.

mine also 2 to 3 days approval..very fast and efficientcy..applied at 1u card center also..
