He also said the gateway@klia2 is better and nearer to me. So I went over and it was indeed quite near to my gate though I have forgotten which gate was that.

Gateway should be before you pass the immigration check point? I visited it when I was returning to KL on the way to car park because I haven't had lunch.

In term of space and feel, spa wellness is definitely better. You are able to see the planes and they do have spa services which make that place feel a little premium. I think it is just beside McDonalds and the sama sama express hotel / spa, before you take escalator down to security check point. So you can't bring any free drinks on board.

Indeed, I am still preffered KLIA PPL although visited quite some times back......

can really chill by having a pint of fresh-from-the-tap of Heineken before boarding is the best.....lols....

Food and beverages can say better than KLIA 2, and atmosphere of course will be better.....

I didn't bother to ask but the PPL in KLIA there's a bar serving alcohol and is labeled as cash counter. Didn't ask if the beer is free or not.

Tiger beer is in the same fridge with coke and other softdrink at gate L8 PPL. No separate label

But thats the only alcohol choice in that PPL

Haven't been to gate L8 PPL. But the one in KLIA, there's no beer in the fridge. Only draft beer on the bar counter, but was labeled cash counter.

maybe wine or other beverages need to pay

Finally a plus for that sardine can KLIA2 gate L8 PPL

to me, the best PPL among the 3 at klia2 is Wellness Spa (beside McDonald's at Gate P & Q).. went in many times already
and PPL@klia is still the best in malaysia

it's a gamble, I've tried and they allow it.

It is no legal to use other people credit card for any means. You can find the clause in any of credit card term and condition that the credit card only can be use by the owner in any means.

No, no additional charges I supposed. It is just a room to take shower.
I believe if you take the massage, yes, should have.

Do you guys know there is a wellness spa too at KLIA1? I wanted to take shower before a long haul flight at PPL but it was under maintenance. So they offered me a room at the wellness spa. It's a private room with bathroom and couch overlooking the plane tarmac. The receptionist said it usually costs 160 and not included for priority pass / credit card privileges. I must have been really lucky
