At rainforest changi munching my chicken rice, food choice is quite limited. Weird they still serve bread at this hour. Has wine and some liquor (JW black label)

Nothing fancy really.

Don't complaint too much whistling.gif
Guess it is still better than KLIA's Golden lounge, serving nasi lemak and rendang chicken.
Best of all, on 12th before I travel again, the bar was closed doh.gif
Still prefer Al Mourjan lounge in Hamad international airport thumbup.gif
Frankly, most of the food served in airports are pre-cooked and heat up back when we are ordering them.

Rice is tastier than chicken sad.gif

I'm in kiasu land, naturally will like to complaint biggrin.gif

I actually fancy KLIA PPL more, just felt better overall. At least some finger food. Here only chicken rice with very weird tasting chicken and fried rice (2 rice dish, like seriously?)

Lol

Well, as said, food are pre-cooked and reheat.
If the food are prepared on the spot, it will taste better.
In golden lounge, the best is the wan tan mee but still the soup tastes 1 kind only. That's my "last" local food before I take off to Qatar and enjoying Indian food.

Bro, next time drop by Skyview Lounge at the opposite end near Gates D. Sometimes they got satay and one or two dim sum dishes besides chicken or beef. And it's 2 levels, go to the upper level and there is a quite room where they have 2 chairs where you put your legs up and can kind of sleep smile.gif

Was tempted to but rain forest is nearer to where AA park their plane. I actually read reviews of both lounge including yours and had problem choosing. Anyway will have chance to try sky view. Thanks for the recommendation.

Senior Gen-X, other than msia credit card, are you interested to review credit card issued by SG banks?

I find that there no SG credit card detailed review at the net so far. hmm.gif

Kinda off topic, but just asking since you might be familiar with it as well.

Bro, I got no ideas on SG credit cards. The only foreign credit card I have is Citibank Australia Platinum Rewards Visa where it is FREE FOR LIFE as long as I maintain my CitiGold status. I tell you, Malaysia is the best where many banks offer FREE FOR LIFE credit cards but not the case in Australia.

Anyway, no matter where one resides, the best credit card in the world is still Maybank 2 Cards Premier. Annual income requirement less than USD60K/year and it earns you 1 Airmile (Enrich of KrisFlyer) with less than USD0.26 spending anywhere on earth (VI outside Malaysia and AR withing Malaysia) tongue.gif And one gets to enter worldwide airport lounges 5X FREE per year too thumbup.gif If you are working in SG and spend you money there, you get 1 KrisFlyer Miles with every SGD0.335spent (or close to 3 KrisFlyer Miles with SGD1 spent)!!!! I don't think any SG credit cards can beat this. UOB PRVI AMEX or MC only offer 1.6 AirMiles for every SDG1 spent in SG.

Having said the above, we need less Enrich Miles compared to Kris Flyer Miles to fly Business Class to say to London. EM only need 55K (KL/LHR) whereas KrisFlyer 80K (SIN/LHR). Both did not consider redeeming online where you get 15%

Bro, that's 15% discount. All online redemptions are entitled to 15% discount for Enrich Miles and KrisFlyer Miles all year round versus calling them over the phone. And the MAS sale until 24th Jan is for booking flights, i.e. paying for the ticket in full and not with Enrich Redemption.

Boy, we discussing Frequesnt Flyer Miles at wrong thread, haha. I was merely answering apj8188 question which was general in respect to SG cards.

If I'm not mistaken, it's not FOC, there will be a charges of USD27 per guest that you check in as I remember it's written in the booklet sent together with the card.
However, supplementary card would probably get to access any PPL nationwide FOC despite of Maybank Customer Service said that there will charges.
At least Maybank did not charge me any fee to my Visa Infinite supplementary card. tongue.gif

Hi Fruitie, Wellness Spa @KLIA2 probably would have towel and shampoo as according to Plaza Premium Lounge official website, it's written that they have "Shower with amenities". Logically thinking, Wellness Spa should have towel and shampoo as Gateway @KLIA2 do have it and it's run by Plaza Premium Lounge as well.

Or you may call Wellness Spa @KLIA2 at +(603) 4065 0165 to save yourself from doubt. wink.gif

Why not head to The Green Market or The BAR instead? (Assume you don't mind some walking and provided you have the time to do so) tongue.gif

The Green Market open at 4AM and The BAR open at 5AM. wink.gif

The Green Market and The BAR are new to me. Are they part of the free access service of the PPL or pay service?

Pay service for most CC with access to PPL. Didn't know of any CC giving complimentary entry for them so far.
