hi i am new to ocbc, and as well as very confuse.

For digi: am i eligible to enjoy 5% rebate if i sign up auto billing?
for celcome: the same thing to digi
For eletric bill: i pay using online or need to go tenaga shop to pay
for astro: do i need to pay online or go astro shop to pay to enjoy 5%? can auto billing which able to enjoy 5% rebate as well?

for dining: as long as i use this card i enjoy all place?

For TNB and astro, you can pay using OCBC internet banking, 5%.

For dining, not always as depends on the merchant code. Refer to 1st post.

Auto-Billing would get 5% Cash-back

For dining, if it's classified as cafe merchant code, you'll only be getting 1% rebate. Starbucks and Coffee Bean will not be getting 5% rebate.

The merchant using restaurant merchant code will be entitled for 5% rebate.

This is what the OCBC bank staff told me that day.

would like to know if i would auto bill my insurance, will i be able to enjoy 1% off of the total premium?

Starbucks uses the Dining MCC... try it out.
Usually I use AMEX for Starbucks... OCBC can get 5% also

i used my ocbc for gsc buy 1 free 1 movie on newly screened "simple life" casted by Andy Lau. I was delighted the ocbc promotion is applicable on new movie, but i nearly kena strok for watching the movie, forcing myself to watch the entire movie, suk to the max! Not a great start for me


Added on March 19, 2012, 11:03 amcash rebate received for my first statement = RM 38.25 but slapped with RM 50 GST
