ok, this is weird..carrefour klang is not giving me 5% rebate. should have use MBB2 amex to swipe doh.gif

anyone experience same thing while shopping for grocery at other carrefour branches?

Hi, just to share my thought. If u have both MBB Amex and ocbc titanium and u r doing groceries/petrol on weekends, u might as well use Amex becoz
1. Amex is not widely accepted, whereas ocbc titanium is. It's better to max out ur Amex rebate 1st rather than ocbc
2. For Amex u got 5% rebate + 5tp, which translated itself as 2.5% rebate in the basis that for 2000tp u can redeem a rm10 voucher on selected merchants. Ocbc titanium only 5% rebate.

Why OCBC only gives RM2?? My Citibank gives RM6

TM told me the rebate is RM2. OCBC claimed that phone utility bill rebate is 5%. How did you get RM6 from Citi Bank? Which types of credit card?

Unfortunately I do max out every month... so sad not enough rebates.

I get my spouse to apply for it since her spending is not that high and I will max rebate from both cards

no. SCB just one Titanium offer much higher cash rebate value. But that card no longer accept application already. HLB offer the same 1% uncapped

The 1% is cap together with the 5% up to RM50 per month.

I applied OCBC titanium card using their terminal beside the ATM, I am very impressed by their efficiency. The card was approved instantly with the credit stated on the computer screen.

I also applied MB 2 Amex card but give up. Even with my current approved credit card from other Bank, May Bank need documents.

Many banks no longer accept existing card as reference for new application. Starting from next year, all banks will do the same by insisting you to submit your income document.

I applied in Penang, OCBC Bishop Street. I was surprised too to read from the screen....something like
"your application is successful and your credit limit is xxxxx..." The card was delivered to me in less than a week after the OCBC staff called me to confirm address etc

If they need income document then those credit card promoters in the shopping mall will be out of biz.....very much prefer using existing card as reference

You dont have to furnish any income documents, or you already have saving/current account with them?
