i think no need to wipe battery stats, however its ok.. just flash, after that just wipe data and other things you want to do.

QUOTE(wheeqo @ Jul 25 2011, 10:46 PM) any benefit before I update from CM7.1 v0.8 to 0.9, Wipe Dalvik Cache and Wipe Battery Stats? is it safe? v.0.9 + hofix6 is faster, smoother and wifi more stable. i have never try dalvik cache wipe but i've done wipe battery stats and it saves battery consumption. before you update, it's advisable to backup your present rom, settings, and apps with CWM. if you don't like v0.9, then with a few clicks on your phone using CWM, you can restore everything back exactly as before. QUOTE(alexysc @ Jul 25 2011, 09:46 PM) i've never tried rebooting with gps on. if phone not responding, press VOLUME UP button and POWER OFF button at the same time, wait for a few seconds, the phone will reboot. ok..thx ya..Added on July 25, 2011, 9:51 pm i suggest that you reflash all over again with the fol steps : 1. reflash to motofoca's v. 2.0.9 , do data wipe/factory reset. 2. partition your ext4 with motofoca's app2sd (follow the instructions on your phone) 3. flash CWM and do data wipe/factory reset. 4. flash the 3 files (cyanogen v0.9 + hotfix6 + googleapps) 5. reboot. |

(sometimes the computer and/or mini tool detects falsely the partition info). This post has been edited by alexysc: Jul 25 2011, 11:46 PM |
