i think no need to wipe battery stats, however its ok.. just flash, after that just wipe data and other things you want to do.

v.0.9 + hofix6 is faster, smoother and wifi more stable. i have never try dalvik cache wipe but i've done wipe battery stats and it saves battery consumption.

before you update, it's advisable to backup your present rom, settings, and apps with CWM. if you don't like v0.9, then with a few clicks on your phone using CWM, you can restore everything back exactly as before.

Added on July 25, 2011, 11:06 pmcurioso, CM roms from v0.7 onwards does not need to do data wipe unless after upgrading, there is problem or it is stated in the changelogs. as for me, the last time i did data wipe was flashing CWM for the first time. since then i just install the upgrades, no data wipe and they (the upgrading roms) are working well and great for my phone.

u can wipe batt stat anytime. but since u want to update, wipe it after update as no point u wipe now and then update and wipe again, right?

oh ya alex..just now i take out my sd card and put it into computer, the minitool recognize my partition as ext 3where i edy format it into ext 4..hwo come?

yes, CWM is very easy, whether upgrade roms, hotfix, backups or restoring.

mine (video) is fine. maybe it's the parameter settings. i use clockspeed min 245MHz and max 729MHz, SMARTASS as governors and Compcache DISABLED.

u can try my settings.

Added on July 25, 2011, 11:46 pmis your mad2sd working? you can check at > settings > storage > Internal storage -----> if this total space is approx the size of your ext4, then you have your ext4 partition. (sometimes the computer and/or mini tool detects falsely the partition info).

Bro, do u have samsung android driver for XP, cause i cant connect to my pc driver cant found after flashed to CM. Did wipe battery status save alot of battery, also my Ram can go up 70MB ++ after reboot.

Although CM does not support Kies, but you can use Kies and download the drivers from there to your pc.
