erm..beside universal androot and z4root, is that any other to root ?i keep trying to root after the new firmware but keep failed using the 2 app..

I've download n reinstall through onemobile market..

u use what rom?cyanogenmod 7.1 or madteam rom?
if cyanogenmod 7.1 ,already root...
if official rom...use universal androot...
if madteam rom..i think already root too

i on official rom..with jp8..sunday that time update 1..previously on jp6 can root using androot. but now cant d..

so the radio still not functioning. Wait till it really stable and then one shot flash. LOL

you can now use ClockWork Mod (CWM) to backup your current rom, then use CWM to install the latest cyanogen v7.0 + hotfix4. if you don't like, then use CWM to restore back your current rom.

CWM is easy and convenient to use. with a few clicks on your phone (no more odin flashing), you can change your roms.

latest cyanogen is fast, smooth everything works fine and great except the radio only and just some minor bugs issues.

Im on motafoca 2.0.9 now, actually i wanna use official rom, but when I flash official 2.2 gps does not search any satellite, but flash back to motafoca rom gps working again. now waiting service center to figure out. planning to use official rom with link2sd coz i try already b4 and it is more fast on my sd card.

no problem...with CM7.1 v0.7 + hotfix4. the only bug is the radio ...no sound. everything else works fine.

just curious, so from v0.7 onwards, can only flash using CWM?

ya, you're right. psyke has informed that previous roms like v.2.0.9, etc.. will be available for CWM when they have converted them to .zip.
