please do note though that if you ask some shops to install papago for you.. they include alot of things inside...
my papago works fine and only take up like 600Mb of SD card with mfm maps... but those shops filled up my gf's ace 3.8G just like that because of papago... dunno how they install..
eventually i install myself.... the best... and it's not hard really...

no disrespect but I believe there are also some problems with the Acer...I agree the price / feature ratio is extremely good at 1k though.

The Imak should not scratch the phone, there should be some soft lining inside. But from the pictures, it fits the iPhone4 perfectly, while Ace is slightly wider, not sure if it will fit as well.

yeah i agree with you that ace liquid metal has problems...i think every phones have their own faulty and defects...but here im comparing the specs of ALM and ACE with almost identical price...not to mention the extra 1 yr of warranty..
but honestly..ACE wifi and sudden death problems are really annoying

Sorry to spoilt ur mood who just bought ace. Galaxy sl now can get at rm1250. Ori samsung malaysia set. Price different of rm250 compare to ace at rm999.

I bought ace for my wife last weeken seems to be ok. Did not occurs any reboots or sudden sleep.. atm she is using latest version.

However any1 know how to change dockbar icon? I want to remove standard messaging icon.

What version is it? Can you share with us?

where got 1250? i tot retail price 1699. and in LYN some offer 1500.

The one in samfirmware is an old version for Hong Kong. The updated South East Asia firmware is DXKC1.

You can do this by downloading LauncherPro from the market. But you need HomeSmack to use LauncherPro.

Wow..RM899 is one hell of a bargain! . Actually the SOD is based on luck. Mine has been working like magic ..and about battery life..it was average but improved after firmware update
