is at ampang point rite now.thinking about buying ace.but in da 1000 price range i cud get a galaxy ace, a bb curve 9300 n an htc aria ap.cudnt decide! Hardware wise, ace beat da living crap of other alternatives.but when it comes 2 tradein value, brand n UI..i mean, samsung touchwiz isnt dat appealing compared 2 htc sense, curve 9300 has support for BB OS6 but 2meg camera (lousy).when hold ace,its kinda felt cheap.can u guys psycho me into buying ace.help

Let me assist you... although this an Ace thread, so I can't help it If I'm bias towards it.
For build quality, yes, Aria is much better. BB and Samsung might having the same quality. Actually BB has the worst build quality IMHO looking from a few owners whose own it (my office mate). Ace has much better build quality compare with old model of Samsung and it feel so solid compare with Galaxy S.
Let me compare with Aria because it is in the same category (I'm not owning an Aria but Wildfire so generally, HTC devices work about the same on the software side).
1. Out of box, it is 2.1 whereas Ace is 2.2.1. Not sure FOTA version of Aria.
2. Processor, same model but different clock speed. Ace has extra 200MHz.
3. Screen size 3.2 vs 3.5, some sites (like gsmarena) claimed that Aria only capable of producing 256k color only (not sure).
4. Ace has Gorilla Glass
5. Ace got camera with flash
6. Aria has ambient light sensor whereas Ace does not have it. It control the screen brightness automatically.
7. Ace has DLNA and ThinkOffice.
That is all about the hardware differences, the rest is about the same.
About the HTC Sense, it love and hate relationship. If you like Sense widgets then it is ok. For me, Launcher Pro Plus has better implementation than Sense. Furthermore, I did not like Sense dialer tab, SMS/MMS and contacts apps, looks dull to me compare with touchwiz. Sense has better manageability of the idle/home screen.
