hey all..

i just bought SGA for my wife from a shop in lowyat.. so far i think it is original since got all samsung stickers all over the box n phone n accesories.

but one think im a bit confused.. the seller didnt register e-warranty for me.
i told him that on the manual itself request retailer to do so.. but unfortunately the seller told me "dont worry.. same warranty.. 1 yr oso..just go to samsung.."
"we dont have shop code.. try put our shop address.. maybe can or not?"

wtf.. i was like.. can u pls sms to e-warranty it would only take less than a minute. n he claimed that his previous cust never request anything like this..
all bought n claim warranty to authorized seller.. thats all.

is it ok if i dont register to e-warranty?

and why some offer 2 yrs warranty? is all ori samsung got 2 yrs warranty?

and da.. after rooted it can we install JIT? I did that on my x10 and it does improve a lot!..

not sure wether SGA got JIT enable or not..

really? hm weird coz LG optimus one doesnt come with JIT and Cyanogen 6 (froyo 2.2) has JIT enabler.

move2sd? i think it is called app2sd.

app2sd is the one that we r using to minimize "installed apps" in the internal storage into SD card or another larger internal capacity.

yeah.. sga cpu does not support flash.. but can use flash lite edition.
but still not 100% can display content.

htc legend use the same cpu (except sga is a overclock edition).. still able to see some flash..

and it does support OpenGL. My X10i can play smoothly except heavy loaded games such as dungeon defender a bit laggy.

so far i tested my SGA is running fine such games as dungeon hunter, shrek 3d, NFS shift, PES 2011.. no problem.

I bought ace for my wife last weeken seems to be ok. Did not occurs any reboots or sudden sleep.. atm she is using latest version.

However any1 know how to change dockbar icon? I want to remove standard messaging icon.

memory or storage?

SGA already using froyo 2.2 and any newer apps or games it will automatically install both storage and sd. it will not 100% install into your SD. certain file still remain for execution in your phone storage.

if u wanted to free up some memory.. u can use advance task killer... but choose which unwanted apps only to kill. dont kill important running apps.. or u will get FC (force close)

or u can u the basic way.. setting > application > running apps .. and select which apps u want to release.

android 2.2 which in SGA already had app2sd... I've tested and it work well.. not like LG Optimus 1 which running on 2.2 but app2sd not supported..

i havent root my wife's sga.. but for my x10i I tested no problem at all.

yep.. my wife's sga also no problem at all. been using wifi 24 hours n never disable it.
i even setup in the wifi connection settings > wireless & networks > wifi settings > and click MENU and set never sleeps.

which mean 24/7 wifi connectivity... so far no problem.

im using DXKC1 no problem..

oic!!... no wonder it can connect to internet.. coz my wife one dont have internet pakcage.. so it will charge per kb/s

lastnight i call celcom and the little girl from celcom told me i need to get it back to samsung and remove data packet.. wataff...?

ok i will try changing to MMS .. currently it select Internet + MMS

but if u enable data internet.. (while wifi is on) then ur wifi will have problem.. cannot connect "ERROR"

not sure is it coz of my wifi lan in my house..
