rclxub.gif rclxub.gif My Gosh. My Day 1 and Day 2 are gone after some editing. No idea how to retrieve them back. sweat.gif
Now my Day 1 and Day 2 are after Day 9. Trying to write what I managed to recall.

Day 3
Visited National Museum of Korea. Really really big. Spent about 3 hours inside. Had lunch there at their food court. Nice and cheap food as well. A large variety.

Had lunch there, stayed until about 7pm and headed back to Gangnam Station for dinner. Happened to find a very very good restaurant there by chance. Serves very very tasty and delicious spicy sauce Takgalbi + fried rice. Total cost less than 8,000 won per person. Had a very very full meal. Totally recommended! wub.gif wub.gif Headed back to Flower Hotel to rest and pack.

Checked in Grape Garden House. Headed towards Namdaemun area and had bowls of Handmade noodles. Quite warm and good considering having a bowl of hot noodles in such a cold weather. Walked from Namdaemun Market to Myeongdong for shopping. Girls definitely shopped a lot! Lots of cosmetics and clothings. Crowded as usual.

Lunch which I will never ever forget. The spiciest noodles I've ever had in my entire life. I had a very tough time eating it but it's still tasty nevertheless.

Day 7
Checked out from Grape Garden House and stored our luggages there. Took KTX train to Busan, the journey took about 3 hours. Lodging at Busan Inn Motel. Nice location, just beside Busan KTX Station. Clean and big rooms with TV and Computer.

Had lunch at some restaurants just beside the motel. It's called Pork Gupbap. After a satisfying meal, we bought ourselves a 1-day pass for subway whcih costs 3,500 won and headed to Horshimchung Spa. We stayed there for about 3-4 hours and had our dinner there. We had Kamjatang, which is a kind of korean pork rib soup + potatoes. Nice meal. Due to bad weather (keep raining at Busan), we cancelled our plan to Pusan National University night market and headed back to Motel for an early rest.

After that we headed for a walk at Haeundae beach and then to Busan Aquarium. The biggest aquarium in South Korea. At night, we headed to Jagalchi fish market for dinner. Battery was flat back then and didn't manage to capture sashimi + seafood we had there inside a building. doh.gif After that, we went to Nampodong shopping area for some night market shopping + snacks. It's not as big as Myeongdong but still a very nice place to stroll around.

Day 9
Headed back to Seoul by KTX. Had our lunch at Hongik Area. This time round, Kamjatang again. It's highly recommended in blogs.

Not too bad, I've pulled my luggages all the way from subway station to Flower Hotel on our very first night there. I would say about 10 minutes walk from the subway.

For food in Everland, the food are available usually for less than 10k won. Don't be too worry about it.

Wow thanks for the info! It's only 30000won for twin bedroom with private bathroom. CHEAP! Except the location is a bit far - as in, I have to carry my backpack and change from AREX to line 4.. hmmm.. still, it's tempting. If I can go to South Korea again this year I will consider Bong House. Relaxing @ the bar is just at the basement, so convenient!
*
per head is 25000won for private room .. but u can get 10% discount if u add him on facebook smile.gif

there is a bus no 6011 direct to the sungkwungkwan uni .. 10000won/head

Oopss sorry for the late reply. Here's a summary of my trip.

1st day
Arrived at Incheon at night. Slept there.Quite cold.

2nd & 3rd day
Took the Arex to Gimpo airport. Fly to Jeju for 2 days (not enough!). Stayed at Hiking Inn and rented a van with a driver for the 2 days. The owner, Kevin was very nice, and the van driver, Mr Kim was super nice! He took us to beautiful places around Jeju.

4th day
The real adventure begins on this day. Carrying the huge bagpack up and down the subways. Went to Nami island. The scenery was nice but only the Winter Sonata fanatics would love to come here.Took a bus to Sokcho and stayed at The House Hostel. The owner,Mr. Yun was also super nice! Gave us a detailed map of Sokcho and told us about the interesting places even though we arrived at this house at midnight.

5th day
Went to Mount Sorak. Sad because the cable car was closed due to string wind. sad.gif Did a bit of hiking but didn't finished the trail. Spent a lot of time taking pictures cos the view was so beautiful! On the way down, saw the cable car operated again, so went up. The view from up there was amazing! Went straight to Seoul that night and check in at Yun Guesthouse.

6th day
Went to Namsan Tower,jalan-jalan at Namdaemun,Dongdaemun, Jewel Park(if I'm not mistaken) and bought a lot of accessories. Just sightseeing. Bought souvenirs at Doota.

7th day
Went to Hanok village. Also to Itaewon to visit the mosque there. Last minute shopping before going back to KL.

All in all,my trip cost me RM2000 including the flights. We saved a lot on food and accomodation. T-money also really cut down our spending.

Errm.. I've borrowed mine from my friends. That's why I save a bit of time for T-money buying. I suppose u can get it at any convenience store at Incheon airport for 3,000 won.

Added on March 22, 2011, 10:18 pmOh, forgot to update about my expenses. Our personal expenses was about RM 1.8k for everything including flight, food, accmodation and transport. Spent less than we thought. Had tons of Korean Won left.

Tmoney can be bought at the store opposite the Incheon airport. At the basement. But seriously, getting Tmoney is easy around Seoul. GS25, Family Mart all of them sell the card.
