QUOTE(laily enelya @ Mar 24 2011, 06:51 PM) Yup lucky I got to ride the cable car. And totally agree with you about the wind.Up there,we had to crouch down. I didn't hike up until the batu-batu parts, but the wind was already strong like crazy we had to hold on to each other, afraid somebody would fall off.And the view was breathtaking....... no doubt the wind is very strong,i was told that there is a kid got blown away by the wind before but not far i think, just lifted and went few meters backward.QUOTE(shakiraa @ Mar 26 2011, 06:05 PM) Hi Ben, the famous one such as the face shop? skinfood? misha? and alot more, but korean ginseng i feel a little overatedthanks so much for the response. i really appreciate that! maybe i will try the Mnet Mcountdown on thur if i have time. regarding the things to buy, do you have any suggestion? eg for cosmetics what brand is cheap? thx again |

my 2cent about the radiation thing,as far as im concern cos i study physics till my uni lvl already, this radiation thing actually can be spread very fast and to very far cos the half-life can just duplicate and multiply in a very short time, and somemore i think the radioactive substance they use should be quite a something cos its a power plant and also its spreading direction is RANDOM but not too sure about the wind blow thing, maybe u in malaysia are experiencing a little radiation u never know that. For me,if i already have a trip plan to go to anywhere near japan i don find a reason to cancel it,because you gonna be there like a week?like as though for a week u are exposed to slightly higher radiation level u will be diagnosed with cancer, unlike the 50 workers that work nearby the power plant that are constant exposed to the radiation. No offense everyone just my opinion about this. Maybe some sifu that is expert in this field can explain more

QUOTE(hosiery2u @ Apr 1 2011, 01:12 AM) hi, i also major in chemist, and what i know is korea is the nearest to the japan, actually a very small amount of radiation could cause our body internal sel to mutate, but a very small amount will not bring in any short term effect. But it surely will bring in long term effect, like after 5 yrs, 10 yrs.... This is not whether you stay there for how many days, it is how many amount you are expose to. And I believe the level is much higher than what news reported which they just want to cover up the truth. Today news reported that they found the rain in Seoul, China, Vietnam... contain radiation Iodine 131 and cesium 134 and 137, but luckily not plutonium 238, which is the most dangerous, just a mg of plutonium can cause human fatal in just seconds. Really hope Japan can control it asap. nice one u have here,in other way of saying stay longer will expose to the radiation more, and yup i agree with you the level of radiation is definitely higher than reported. Well just pray everything is fix asap |
