Actually I am so poisoned by the physical of the lens.
anyway why your photos aren't sharp? hmm.gif
I thought the lens is sharp even at wide open?

Hmm, not sure about Sigmalux, I think General_Nic told me before that it'll be soft at wide open and will be sharp beyond.... erm f/2.8? (forgotten, tired with whole day class just now, can't think) hmm.gif

sigmalux should be sharp at f1.4 if u got a sharp copy or calibrate it smile.gif i think its the image hosting issue. upload using flickr = sharp2 laugh.gif

f/1.4 will gain 70% more light than f/1.8 but will reduce don't know many % of sharpness (If I'm not mistaken is 20%?)... Uh, I better let someone else do the explanation...  sweat.gif

Anyway, RM380 for f/1.8D is standard price, try to cut to RM370 perhaps? rclxms.gif

Hehe, not me, probably celciuz or edward or someone else.

What I mentioned was it's worth to get for people on low budget and want to get a prime lens. Some people even still keep the 1.8D, or get the 1.8D for 50mm prime while invest on other lens. icon_rolleyes.gif

Because they can keep poison me and say this good this good, this is my stupid reason.

Looking at the Flickr, i also got poisoned d. But need to hear more the complementation from the user to the lens.

Currenly my poison percentage of 24mm is over than 16-35mm f4 , that y i need more 16-35mm f4 poison.

Keep telling myself 24mm is way expensive although is GOOOD lens and go to get 16-35mm first.
