i always thought for smaller lenses u wont notice much difference in AF-S speeds, cos if not mistaken AF-S came about to help those huge 400mm, 500mm, 600mm lenses focus faster.

Try to use photoshop and tone your picture a little bit. In this case pump up the exposure. I just increase the brightness a little bit for you

New AF-S is lighter and smaller also what. 28-70 so damn thick and heavy is because of the AF-S.

Next item, I need to get myself a bag by this week and my max budget RM400 >. Preferring a sling one that can easily shove in and shove out the camera. Any recommendation please?

I got nothing now except the kit lens. Will be looking forward to use the bag with an additional lens and flash unit in the future
