hmm its really hard eh to define... lets skip the stylish term...

I would prefer one which is not that bulky looks better than the ori nikon bag... sling bag...easy access to cam and lens...
*
for me i stick to lowepro bags.
ur best option if u just want to carry d7000 + kit lens is exchange messenger, rm180+ or passport sling, rm230+.
if u want to put ur 70-200, u need something bigger and will already look like it has a camera inside...or wont look stylish.

yea im not thinking to put in a laptop... so i guess i will get a flipside 300... it will fit a 70-200 rite? about thinktank... i think the sling bag is kinda squarish... lowerpro flipside looks more slimmer i guess...
*
flipside 300 isnt exactly small.
imo in the long run u may have anywhere from 2 to 4-5 diff bags for diff occassions.
after awhile u may get irritated at backpacks especially if u have to change lens often...then end up with a sling bag...
after that u realise that sometimes u may want to carry just basic...then have another smaller bag...
and goes on and on tongue.gif

Supposedly weather sealed, so any dust it has to be coming from inside. This 70200 has more dust than my 18105!

User feedback on these 3 lens? Coz Sigma70-200 n nikkor 80-200 have no OS/VR, but is fast 2.8 lens, den the cheaper nikkor 70-300 has VR but not a 2.8 lens, which 1 wins shooting handheld low light? and also color outcome in daylight?
*
sigma 70-200 there is one with OS, but its about rm4.5k.
but since u mention the none OS one, guess ur budget is around rm2-3k only?
anyway, go with your needs.

obviously VR helps in low light, and can let u shoot at at much lower speeds at full zoom than either sigma or 80-200.
in daylight, depending what is shot i think its going to be hard to tell the difference between all 3 lenses if no one says anything.

only thing the 70-300VR loses out is of cos if u need high shutter speeds of at least 1/125 etc in low light...then u need to boost iso...which then will reduce image sharpness...even tho the image will look somewhat clean.

Where did you hear this? The fact that you need to use higher than 1/125 shutter speed (even for VR ??) tells me that it's a user problem than the lens itself despite the fact that super zooms are never good at their most tele end.
looks like u didnt or cant read properly, i said "if u need high shutter speeds of at least 1/125 etc in low light", with respect to shooting events like dances / concerts etc where ppl obviously do not stay still...whereas if i had a constant 2.8 i can get 2 stops of ISO.

I may be wrong but I thought the 10 minute limitation is to prevent the sensor from overheating.
well D7000 can record 20mins of video.
only 2 real valid reasons i have heard about the limitation.
one has to do with a 4gb file limit on the FAT32 system, another is that if it was any longer it would no longer be classified under cameras and thus fall into a diff tax category.

Ops, miss out your post. By default the body does not have AF so when want zoom it need manually to focus, correct? For AF need depend on the lens if the lens have the AF(Automatic Focus) function, right?  biggrin.gif
*
doh.gif in short if u want AF, u need to buy a lens that says AF-S on it.

really la, all the time u spent typing so far, can google right away for the answer and save time...

Worth it. Besides the 4mm and N coating, I heard 24-70 focus faster than 28-70 also thanks to the new SWM motor inside.
*
but both 24-70 and 28-70 also AF-S lenses...cant be any difference in the motor right?

got old n new version of AF-S mah  biggrin.gif

i always thought for smaller lenses u wont notice much difference in AF-S speeds, cos if not mistaken AF-S came about to help those huge 400mm, 500mm, 600mm lenses focus faster.

Finally, I bought my D7K Kit on Sat and I'm officially a Nikonian now biggrin.gif

Next item, I need to get myself a bag by this week and my max budget RM400 >. Preferring a sling one that can easily shove in and shove out the camera. Any recommendation please? smile.gif

I got nothing now except the kit lens. Will be looking forward to use the bag with an additional lens and flash unit in the future smile.gif

Oh, the snap on type like Nikon's default protector? Hmm... I never seen that in the market before, price should be higher than the stick on type? How much actually is this GGS stick on protector cost in the market? unsure.gif
*
depends for what model.
some is clip-on, those one got no viewfinder protection.
for D7000, its got viewfinder protection, and imo the design is dumb cos it only stays in place via the viewfinder slot.
there is no clip below the lcd part to clip on to the body, so it can move sometimes.
here's mine anyway, im going to put another GGS 1st gen on the LCD, and then 3rd gen one over it, use it to extend the viewfinder away from the body abit.

hey guys about the md11 battery grip, i do feel a little bit lose eventhough i had tighten it up the lock to the max. Does anyone encounter the problem like that? thanks!
*

*
can la...i use it with my 80-200 also no problem...70-200 vr2 is just slightly heavier only.
