newbieeeeee: sp60 is quite a new macro lens. supposedly i won 1 but then they gave me nikon mount, when i request for a change, they don have a-mount in malaysia. sp90 can b used as a portrait lens n macro lens, my 2 cents as i use it for both of this. 50mm on apsc would be better for portrait shooting, sp90 is a little tight for portrait on apsc to me.

ohh, i get what u mean d.. That would be equiv. to a 90mm as well but with an upped f/2 brightness..

william, i thought there is a way to "bypass" the autocrop function on the a900/a850....? very simple push of a button only. tongue.gif
