Hi Lynn, wow, when the heck was macbook 13" (white version) retailing at RM3799?? and clearance price is Rm3299???!?? that was the same as the retail price at that time!!!! can you explain why?? you put visa, master and amex logs. but the payment page says they only accept COD, bank-2-bank transfer and paypal. (tho i never made an actual transaction so i'm not sure if there is a credit card option) and what is "afilliate partnership with amazon.com", "ebay authorized dealer" and that "best buy" logo???!? i can't find any information on these 3 things as well. there is no other link to amazon or ebay in your webpage. can provide more details. u can see here, there was a query about your website too. http://fraudwatchers.net/forums/showthread.php?p=130831 plus paypal and bank-2-bank transactions are very hard to reverse the transaction. Miss Lynn or i-citymall. i think you should back your claim and stop threatening geopchai. I agree with ben113 that geopchai didnt make any damaging statement to defame your company.
As a matter of fact, you are making matters worse by giving us a bad image of your company by threatening to sue gepochai here. People do not respond well to threats and I believe you could have handled this better by asking gepochai nicely. |

yes! I agree with you gepochai. There's are too many doubts there regarding to their website. I wish that people could take more precaution on this website http://i-citymall.com.
I notice that their clearance sales price is set on there since Tuesday and never change. So cheap still cannot clear out arr? Added on April 29, 2011, 6:33 pmadditional info: (Wednesday Morning) I called them(Penang number: 04 6192569) and ask how could I make COD payment. There's a girl said I have to make the arrangement via their contact us form on their website and they will reply me within an hour. (Thursday Afternoon) I waited a day and they still have no reply. So I email the sales email address and enquire about it. They told me this "COD accepted within Klang Valley/Sunway/PJ and Bayan Baru / Suntech@Penang CyberCity lobby. As we had clearly mentioned on our payment information page, early appointment 3 days earlier to arrange the schedule and product transport from our 2 warehouses (Bayan Lepas/Port Klang). To check the stock availability, you may call +010-4284181 (Mrs. Corina David) to arrange the appointment." I didn't call them up because, firstly, I know three days after Thursday is Labour Day(Sunday) and the next day is public holiday. Secondly, if it's a well maintained big company, why are they telling me the different way to make COD arrangement? Wow, u actually tried to call. Not bad. This sales agent from I-citymall.com claim that they have obtained my personal information from mcmc and will file a lawsuit towards me. She also PMed me explaining regarding the iPhone sales that I enquired about. She say their stock was shipped from Canada and that they will provide after sales service to claim warranty. And the new stock they are selling is from maxis. But no explanation was provided regarding why the MacBook normal retail price that they show in the webpage is actually much higher than the normal retail price in any apple reseller in Malaysia. Added on April 30, 2011, 12:15 amPlus there seems to be no credit card payment option although they display the respective icons. Did you see any credit card payment option when you try to buy? Overall, the website is very professional and very convincing, but if we think twice and look carefully, their website is very doubtful. Do not send money via Bank to Bank transfer! Most scammers will want you to transfer money to a bank account which is in the name of a totally unrelated individual or entity than who they claim to be or claim to represent. There are persons and companies who let scammers use their bank accounts for the deposit of funds gained through scams in exchange for a cut of the money. Bank transfers are extremely difficult, if not impossible, to reverse because the bank's position will be that you authorized the transfer even if that authorization was based on fraud! Anyone can register with SSM. I can register with SSM using ABC Company, saying I'm a eRetailer, but infact I could be doing Sundry kedai runcit. SSM don't investigate. I can register ABC and open a bank account, and later after the SSM registration has expired, I can still continue to use the bank account. SSM is just a place to register "stuff".

I once won a case when the seller's ad was misleading, etc. Misleading can be in many forms, such as pictures does not match the description or item, small fonts, certain clauses not visible, or those description that are visible but then they are not related to the ad, etc... many ways to mislead a person. Be careful.

Sigh....I saw this post earlier and back then nobody was replying to this thread. I also saw the SSM register, but the funny thing is everything on the website is all image with links. I think I could have been cheated. I've actually made a purchase of iPad 64Gb+3G from this site in mid of march. It was priced rather cheap at RM1280 as it is a display set. I've made my payment via bank transfer and waiting eagerly for my iPad.
After waited for a few weeks, they informed me that the iPad has been sold out to another person, so what they could do was to replace my purchase with an iPad2 32Gb+3G. Because I was still hoping to get an iPad with 3G, I told them ok. Again, I waited for weeks, I've been communicating to them like on a weekly basis, but again and again my purchase was delayed. Until iPad 2 was launched in MY in May. I've checked with them again and they told me the item is stucked at custom for clearance and all. After a few more waits, I told them I would like to cancel my purchase and ask for a refund, throughout their email communication with me, they did mentioned that they are sorry for the delay and would compensate me with a free iPad 2 cover and after a few more delays they told me that they will compensate me with some monetary as well if i would like to cancel and get a refund. I eventually asked for a refund as the delay is week after week. They told me that could be done and asked me for all the details including the earlier online bank transfer proof of payment which I also sent back to them for the refund. And now, even the refund, they told me they need 3~5 working days. Given them 5 maximum working days, I still do not see any refund in my account. I've again checked with them and told them I would consider reporting this as a scam to the authority if I still do not get my refund, and they replied to me telling me that please proceed if they have cause me any financial loss on my side and they take this full responsibility in the highest extend of law. I've tried contacting them again regarding my refund and today they told me that they will refund me latest by next Tuesday. I just hope that I could get my refund back and swear to be more careful when doing any online purchase. It could be me that is unlucky to deal with this or there could be someone out there who has got the same fate as me. Added on June 8, 2011, 5:21 pmoh ya, another thing is my friend actually went to Penang to Suntech city to check for me on this shop but apparently the address provided in the website is also incorrect, the shop did exist in suntech but the address in incorrect. And the office in Penang is only the secretarial office. I wanted to keep this thread open as I've googled their company and found no real thrustworthy information. And this thread could be the only place that can warn potential victims. Go make police report bro. |

The purchase has been from mid March til now lo....another week would be 3 months anniversary...
The refund itself is going to be 2 weeks tomorrow. Today I've got an sms saying that someone told the person from i-city mall that I wrote a complaint here at LYN. But what I am doing is merely sharing my own experience. The person is even asking me why I felt cheated. It has been 1 week to 3 months waiting for my purchase. Of course, I also mentioned that the person from this company is responsive to my emails from time to time. Though sometimes a delay of a day or two. But for 3 months and even when asking for a refund, this has been delayed again and again. I've read in the other site that the person-in-charge in this company mentioned that all refund will be handled within 72 hours (I only found out about this yesterday night).
I've requested for my refund and they told me 3~5 working days. Fair enough time for them to check and clarify on the transfer and as well refund me back. But after waited for 5 full working days, no updates from them and I have to again asked them for a status. When I mentioned in my reply to get them to take this seriously and I might report this as a fraud, they told me sure to go ahead and they will take this in highest extend of law. I did not make this story up as this is my experience purchasing from this site. When I called after 5 working days, the person told me she was busy and just came back from outside doing some other refund to other customers and my refund request got to her only after she was out handling the earlier batch. Then, next, the person email me telling me there is a limit of 5k transfer via online with bank. I do understood this fully. But then again, I was thinking, why need WORKING DYAS if you are telling me the transfer would be done online? and what happened when I was told she just got back from outside doing some other refund transfer?? I mean after all the communication and asking them to honour their words, again and again I am being delayed. For 3 good months and they can't prioritise the refund or even delivery of the product of an unsatisfied customer? They did mentioned when I asked for refund that they could send me the product if it is available from port klang within the refund period promised. They said they missed to send me my purchase in their first batch of stock arrived? How am I not feeling upset? A purchase for 2+ months could not be treated with higher priority? lexus150, i saw your PM first before I read this post, so I didn't know what was it about.
OK, I'm sure some of you heard of small claims court. I believe someone's parents are lawyers so please advice if my sharing is not entirely right. Go to small claims court, take a form, pay RM10, fill in and submit. Prepare all your details and claims. Highlight those that matters, in your case go according to time sequence. This is why school presentation is important, because you really need to organize everything according to your benefit and present to the court. With small claims court, you would have to do everything yourself, unless you want to engage a lawyer. Prepare your case, present the subpoena yourself, even prepare the subpoena yourself, and all other documents all by yourself. But it is a great learning experience. I am just sadden by the fact that many lawyers have eyes only for money. No money means no talk. Not even a bit of advice. They feel so strong about these things, even very rich ones with high status. When they need IT advice, they come and hope to get things for free!! (Just my rumbling about lawyers) Anyway, back to topic. Even if you win at small claims court, there is still enforcement part. If you can find the person, then he has to pay or otherwise you can get the law to go after him. If he is not to be found, then the situation becomes difficult. Usually, conman would have prepared the "back down" or "escape" route. So you need to understand their entire plan, then only take your move and have all of them captured. I had a malay who is a pro con artist. Everything he and his wife does are truly like Gloden Globe award winners. Now, they are not to be found, and I have no choice of doing anything. So don't "hit grass scare snake". |

If Monday I still don't see the money in, I may want to lodge a police report on Monday next week. When is your dateline Lexus150? We may want to file the report together. |

What kind of transaction? If it's a maybank2u online transfer then the amount should be reflected in ur account. U can check under 'today's transaction'. If it's cheque bank in then it'll take 3 working days.

Actually, in my understanding of law, if anyone of you write things here without the intention to bad mouth any company, then it is difficult to sue you in court, especially if the company is a seller. As a seller, these are opportunities to arise as a responsible company, and to make clear of what is not. If the seller wish to sue the writer as of what is written so far, from what I see, then by all means go ahead. I have 100% confident that the court will find the company who is the one having ill intention.

They told me the deadline for them to bank in to me is on tomorrow 12:30pm. I think if it's bank transfer to another bank (GIRO transfer), it will normally take 1 working day or maybe the next working day if transfer is done afternoon on that day. You should be able to see the record in your bank statement history, be it online or bring your bank book to the bank for update. So have you checked in your account? Is the money refunded fully back to you with compensation included as promised? I hope you have settled yours and I will get my settled soon. |

interbank transfer usually takes 1 business day only.
if maybank to others before 12noon, the amount will be reflected within the day. but if after 12noon, the amount will be reflected on next business day dunno bout other's bank (maybank to maybank will be reflected instantly) |

The lady just sms told me she already done the e-transfer to me and said will be sending me the transfer ref id. But until now I have not got any relevant email. I will check and wait until tomorrow. Ok. if it's for overseas bank, mayb will take 5~7 days. Wooncc, if you know any1 working in the bank (SCB sg), i think high chances you are still able to track. They havent tell me which bank they are using, just told me transfered and will send the transfer receipt to me.

Back in March I ordered an iPad 1 and iPod Touch from them... After the same story as the rest here, I asked for a refund and they said the replacement iPad 2 would arrive soon and asked me to wait. I did manage to get a refund of RM799 from them for the iPod Touch. Now the latest correspondence is that the final refund date would be 15 July... |

I'm one of the customer of i-citymall. As until today they failed to refund me back. Thye claimed got another 20 customer need to refund. Guys please guide me on how to report this. I'm in midst of compiling all email and sms from them.
I'm posting this because I need your guys guidance on how to report this matter as they dont mind if I'm reporting this case to higher authorities. Below is the latest email I received as at 29th July 2011. ---------------------------------------------------------------- Attn : xxxxxx We need an extension of deadline until the first week of August to settle the pre-order refunds for transaction on Monday 08/08/2011. I apologize but your patience has a limit and I believe you already lost your trust for the slow progress. But if you prefer to report this matter to KPDN, please refer me as the person held responsible for this matter and forward me the filing reference for legal dispute after the report is done. It has been over 13th times of postponements. I apologize for the company's mismanagement and you had been disappointed since the first day. Our team is currently working on the acquiring our venture capitalists to allow us withdraw the substantial amount of proposed refunds from the loans. Please expect the full amount in your bank account as late as before 9.00 p.m on Monday (08/08/2011). I will make sure this is the last extension request. Mind sharing the police report reference number so that the victims can refer your case to this case and perhaps they are the same guys!! I do aware i-citymall monitor this thread. As you guys (i-citymall) mention this kind of leakage will effect your company credibility. As I mention before we want to make sure we are given same information as what you guys had promised us. Your extension dateline will not help to rebuild back your company credibility. Your solutions now is refund us ASAP and all parties will be happy. I will delete all my post if you guys settle this thing ASAP. Please note we are here are not to accuse your company scam or what ever, we just want to shared same information and we are looking for solutions to settle this matter asap. |

Same here, the person told me earlier 16th Aug is the last day...as in really last day and promised that there wont be any more delay...however, few days later, they sent a "correction" note stating 25th Aug.
We never accused on anything but everyone can see the level of credibility. |

wow i just manage to saw this regarding about them..
hmmm..previous im one of the the buyer who fall n the super low price... i did bank in to them and waited for 2 month for my apple to arrive which will never arrive as they will always email u saying there is some issue with custom clearance and so on... 1)The package were originally scheduled to be couriered to your address on 11th March 2011. Yesterday we had just contacted our supplier again to confirm and understood the custom clearance process will require additional 3 days before the parcels can be released from the custom hold. 2.supplier is unable to arrange the shipment on time to Malaysia due to heavy order volumes and tax settlements. We were told that they will need 2 more weeks to recover the stocks 3.we would inform you that our supplier is unable to arrange the shipment on time to Malaysia due to heavy order volumes and tax settlements. We were told that they will need 2 more weeks to recover the stocks 4. 25/3 As mentioned earlier, we are also could not predict the actual arrival date since it was the second reshipment attempt made. Right now we consider the stock must arrive within this period and we don't want to trouble our customers by this delay. BTW, i think the company NextCom Studio Technologies is not Sdn. Bhd. company so therefore if you guys were to do a lawsuit on it, i think the owner can't run away. Following up on this thread....hoping to see evryone getting their money back. Else...i'm so supporting those cheated to have a piece of this FISHY website.

Hi all....i felt so angry for you guys who were cheated. I would like to contribute the SSM registration of the company....at 1st i planned to censor the addresses of the person registered for the company but WTH, privacy is only for those who deserves it....those who cheat hard earn money deserves to burn in HELL !!! I'll attach all the info i have....

Funny thing is she/he kept emailing/texting us even after more than a year of failing to refund us, and then blame us in the email saying that if we can't wait (and said that we are impatient and inconsiderate etc.) we can go make police report etc. Are there any lawyers here who know why she keeps doing that? Does it mean that if she keeps in touch with status updates we can't file a strong report of her or anything like that? This baffles me.. It's been a year & non of you get your refund, you should aware that you guys had been fool.
I have customer refuse to pay up, even with letter of demand also they won't pay. I just forcefully step into their premise ask for my stuff back & I get my payment right on the same day, same spot. I believes you guys should team up & just walk into their office already. |
