It should be when if u're driving through custom.
Usually they wont bother to check. (M'sia custom) At least for me, they didn't even wanna look at me doh.gif
Try not to catch their attention with ur fancy ride, loud exhaust and all the other ah beng's stuff.

futobuta,
You should really consider to sell off ur GTI and get a Polo instead =)

just met up with picolam (white rocco) and another fren of his (blue rocco) for yamcha...  saw his HU.. forgotten the name again ..haha.. but it's not flyaudio or RCD510... but seems to work just as good with bluebooth and GPS... and is below rm2k... (singapore)

hey nice to meet u too. mine is waywell model wd6050. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Il26oVK3mkU
bought at it sgd700 with installation. no tax issue as it's already singing in my car. then i just leave my rcd310 on the passanger seat and custom didnt check lah. i think it's cheap for this player with bluetooth and gps but sound quality not so good. anyway it really make the dashboard looks better. i can stream my iphone and receive call with button on steering as it's all compatible. but from vagsg there's review saying that it drain the battery if you leave your car for couple of weeks. do not take the risk if u often oversea.

if i can get rid of one of my rcd310 i'll surely get the touch screen type. and if anything wrong.. i can still grab the rcd310 fr my golf n install it back to the rocco...

Yeah I remembered I saw somewhere that someone took an image of the Passat and the Jetta at the VW service center as well.

your thinking is very strange...you yourself said the VW is specced much better then C class and 3 series, why shouldnt it be 243k?

the Passat is CBU...both the merc and 3 series is CKD

The passat is higher spec, more powerful, and CBU, i think 243k is a bargain compared to the BMW and Merc equivalent

I think the passat cc looks really good from the front. But the rear does not look that nice to me. Anyway, all this..... personal preference lah. For 243k, u can't even get a new basic model C class Merc.

For that price range, Audi A4 1.8T is an option too. In fact, it's slightly cheaper.
Although spec wise the Passat CC is better, remapping the A4 could make it better than Passat CC biggrin.gif
Plus, A4 makes you look younger too tongue.gif

You are correct. I was debating between the Polo and the Golf too. Used to drive Satria Neo which I really loved. But since I'm getting married, Golf was a more logical decision. Maybe I would buy the Polo for the sweetheart.
*
If u have a little more budget, get golf!
Was intended to get polo, when in the showroom after
checkout polo then see golf and didn't look back..
But polo is a very good car also...for ladies, hehe

So I have ruled out the RCD/RNS option since I don't really need it. I'm leaning more towards chipping my car with REVO or APR stage 1. Anyone knows a good place for this around KL?

I don't quite get your question there. What digital meter? The service reminder only appears when you're reaching 5000km to service. At least in mine it does that.

MAzda 3 also dont have temp gauge. I think most manufacturers think its redundunt at this era with all the high tech engine management... tongue.gif
