Hey guys, count me in as one of roc owner. I got myself the candy white 1.4 only. Love the 2.0 but cannot lah for now. Will end up makan maggi only till my next payrise. I actually hv been driving the roc since 3rd jan but was enjoying my new ride n forgot to update here. Hehehe..

Nway I installed the Flyaudio HU wh GPS, reverse camera and Bluetooth. The SA said it does void the warranty but if there's problem wh the car just take it out n plug in the RCD310 before go to SC. However I am wondering whether I should put back the RCD310 when I go for servicing? How's the SC guys in jln Ipoh branch? Are they stuck up or can Kowtim one? I can ask my SA but I trust u guys more than the VW guys especially when it's about problems and/or warranty claims.

It sucks that the RNS510 with gps n Bluetooth is very expensive. I got a quote of 13k if I want to install via VW. That's almost 10% of my car's value. I envy u guys who uses RNS510. Respect!!

Nway appreciate ur feedback guys.

you can swap out the HU yourself, it will take less then 10min. I can do it under 5min

I used to sell RNS510 for 3.2k, with BT is another 1.5k, but i dont have stock anymore

Flyaudios is a value for money mod, for ppl who dun mind that its not ori VW, and sometimes can be cranky since it uses winCE, its not as stable as RCD/RNS

indeed, but i doubt they will put a small 15 or 16 inchers on a polo gti
user posted image
in the ad they also show polo with 17" boavista rims. and golf with 18" (don't remember the name) but in the end they give 2" smaller on both cars  doh.gif
what is the tyre used on polo? is it CC5? a bit comfort orientated perhaps?
lol so you don't return to the shop in sunway eh, roc 17" stock rims u wanna paint? to what color? as for quality maybe too early to say, but from near it might not look 100% like real detroits as the surface is a bit rough, but more than good enough

In the end opted for matte black instead ... smile.gif coz it's diff spokes than the Denver.. so thot the polished finished might not b as nice since Denver big surface and flat spokes... now my rocco damn ugly .. they gav me a 16" TSI rims as temp ...haha

i find it hard to understand how ppl can have tough time deciding betwen golf and Polo...they are such diffrent cars

Forgive my generalization

Polo is pocket rocket for single ppl who dun need the space and want to be "cool" the other is a larger, more sedate car for young couples or family with young children

Also...i would expect at least a 25-30k price gap between the 2 models.

You are correct. I was debating between the Polo and the Golf too. Used to drive Satria Neo which I really loved. But since I'm getting married, Golf was a more logical decision. Maybe I would buy the Polo for the sweetheart.

Don't buy Polo for the 'sweetheart' lah. But an Alphard or Estima for the 'sweetheart' and the soon-to-follow 'soccerteam'. rclxms.gif
