Not sure man, gotta do some calculations.
I've driven both TSI and GTI too. GTI is not only powerful but it also looks cool in every angle.
On the other hand, TSI looks a bit too auntie-ish. TSI to GTI conversion in terms of outlook, it's still better to have the real thing.

Yeah the exterior factor too. The TSI is still an awesome car for that price level, it will easily blow away the 2.4 accords, camrys, 2.5 mazda6 making them look silly on the road. However, for the GTI, well you are in the league of the Audi A4 S line, Merc C300, and BMW 325, bearing in mind these cars costs so much more. If you remap the GTI to stage 1 260hp, we are talking about taking on entry level porsche boxsters, evos, BMW 335...

Ya, that will be great if we can get a good deal for bulk purchase.
What kind of discounts u get for 2010 stock? What make u decided to wait for 2011 stock? (in fact, I did consider to wait for new batch too)
I was told that there is not much different for the 2011 stock except with DRL headlight. ( another SA told me is rear LED light instead

)
There are various packages for the 2010 stock from different dealers. Mostly in forms of low interest rates, free tint, rear LED or one time discounts. Check with a few dealers for the details. Maybe the thought of these old stocks sitting in the warehouse for so many months kind of make me want to wait for the "fresh new stock". It's just me and my weird thinking, no right or wrong i guess. The new stock confirmed will come with front DRL (as confirmed by various SAs) and these lights are worth about 5k. If there are additional new stuff in the new stocks, then its a bonus..
