Sorry to deviate, but isn't BMW's tagline now 'Sheer Driving Pleasure' (SDP) as opposed to 'Ultimate Driving Machine' (UDM)? laugh.gif

I heard that they're still using UDM in some of their ads.....

sorry I sud not assume it is a 2011 GTI coz the fella might have retrofitted the DRL right after he got his 2010 GTI recently.

Well WVE is a very new plate (as in not the latest one but WV only started in 2011)

Only way to know for sure is to stop the fella and look at his gearknob or steering wheel. Don't see any of these 2011 types being sold yet.

Those who took up VW's low interest rate for the 2010 cars also could have taken new plates right? Unless new batch comes with sunroof... that'll be hard to retrofit onto older cars, unlike the drl n stuff like that.

Don't think there's any sunroof for Malaysian GTI's regardless of 2010 or 2011. Changes are only DRL's, gearknob and GTI symbol on steering wheel. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Correct for the DRL's so can't really determine a 2011/2010 car by the lights. What I meant was the gearknob and steering wheel ... cause I don't see the 2011 gearknob and steering wheel ones being sold yet.

Hi Guys,

Just wanna confirm for Golf TSI owner.. what tyres do they give to you?

I got Bridgestone Turanza..

Seems it is a low-end model from Bridgestone?
*
standard would be Turanza, not unless u r driving one GTI, then chance of u getting tyres varies from Bridgestone, Continental to Dunlop! =)

actually my 1.4 came with CSC2 so i believe different batches and different agents do affect which tires you get.

I think last year u either get the Turanza ER300 or Dunlop SP Sport FastResponse...... now not really sure.
*
My TSI came with the Turanza ER300. I feel it's quite ok. Are there major differences between the various type of tires?
